But the word is NEED. It's not needed. You can drink it. It's safe.
I personally do not. I drink bottled water 100% of the time. Only time I guess I ingest it is the ice that the freezer makes. So that's why I personally change the water filter when it's due.
these AC filters ain't no joke either. Most seem to say last up to 3 months, but reccomend you change the filters every month. Not a chance. I have 3 filters (2 of the 20x20x1 and 1 20x14x1) and picked up 9 at Costco for $90 yesterday. Seems insane to me, but maybe I am now old and cheap, lol.
