It'll be 89 degrees in Miami, gametime.
In Oakland it is in the very low 60's.
Raiders traveling 2000 miles, back to back road games, three hour time zone gap.
Visitor in Miami will cramp up 2nd half, no they will not all go to the ground, most will play through it but with a lesser burst of speed. They will be taking fluids and solutions to help but a few days is not enough to adjust.
Raiders will fold in the 4th quarter, even if they are hanging in the game at that point.
Raiders 0-2 and desperate, I hate to go against a decent 0-2 (they played Rams and at Denver) team but this looks good for Miami for this and other reasons (like the Raiders defense stinks).
Miami - 3, BIG. (& look at 2nd half bets later, too!)

RIGHT NOW, 88 degrees, sunny
Some good cappers on this board are on The Raiders, but IMO this will be a big factor. Bad spot for Oakland.
Miami > 150 running yards today, too. Tannehill back inspires the team, he will shred the Raider D.

4th quarter:

Dolphins 14
Raiders 3

It wasn’t the only reason to take The Dolphins. But when Miami is 20-30 degrees warmer than the visiting team it matters. And humid?
They don’t fall over and call time out but their bodies cannot tolerate the change vs the locals whose electrolyte balance has been established over many weeks or more. Visitors a half step slower by the 4th.

Good angle on this game. Do you find these angles in colllege ball and take advantage as well?? This is something I would think is a big advantage for Florida teams. I wouldn’t know tho. I’ve never been there

more opportunities are forthcoming as it really cools off in the north, and it stays hot and humid in some cities, Miami being the ultimate of course

Yes college is even more significant when it applies but it’s tricky.
Early season non conferemce games even the northern teams have been in the heat.
Then conference starts and it’s more regional, in the SEC for example Florida doesn’t benefit against most teams since they are southern based (Bama Miss et al) but there are opportunities. Lots more I dont have time right now.
