Yes, Syracuse has put up some points and yards against the likes of Western Michigan (2-2), Wagner (1-3), FSU (2-2) and
UConn (1-3). None having powerhouse seasons so far. The Bear in this room is Defense. Clemson is just lights out better
(#4 nationally) than Syracuse. They have held opponents to 2.2 yards per carry and are #3 nationally with 16 sacks. I'm
just saying the Orange men have not faced a front 7 like they will see Saturday. Clemson was flat last game against GT,
they won't be flat this week...……….

So suffice it to say, Syracuse coming away with the "W" is a truly long shot as the spread +22.5 indicates. The Cuse has not played a team this year like Clemson has and playing them on the "ROAD" will be a big mountain to climb. Clemson's superior defense and overall depth, talent and experience in playing in big games will be to much for Syracuse. Now the problem IMHO is laying 22.5 points and a back door cover. I am going to watch and enjoy the game but take a pass. GLTA

this number looks inflated af to me.. as great, and I do mean great, that the Clemson defensive line is, that secondary is nothing to write home about.. they had a hell of a time stopping the aggies through the air..the Clemson defense is predicated on the d line getting penetration and we all know the big boys get tired up front.. with a mobile dungy at qb and an aggressive hc in babers, this line imo, is way inflated.. understanding Clemson now has a qb that can actually throw the ball, this will be his first start at this level..
I’m a Dino Babers fan. If I had a son, I’d like him to play for Dino. I see that Syracuse is now getting 24.5. I’m sure tempted to bite at +24.5. The Syracuse offense should score some points. All early money poured on Clemson, which does scare me a little because you know there was “sharp” money included in the early wagering. Another factor is that Clemson just rolled a really bad Georgia Tech team. If that seems impressive, believe me, it’s not. I think a lot of bettors are also considering the revenge factor, given that Syracuse upset them last year.

Bryant’s absence from Tuesday’s practice could raise questions on whether the senior will transfer from the team. A source told TCI that missing Monday’s practice is not a big deal during game week, but missing Tuesday’s practice is pretty big.
The source said if he missed Wednesday’s practice, it means he is likely not playing in Saturday’s game.

My 2 cents as a Syracuse fan, this number is right where it should be. Our defense is nothing to write home about, if this true freshman is given time the Syracuse secondary will be cut to shreads. Syracuse has played nobody this year, I'm including Florida State in that nobody group because Florida St. is just not good this year. This is a revenge game for clemson and now since I live in South Carolina all I've been seeing is Clemson has had this game circled on their calendar since last year when they left Carrier Dome. Which tells me Dabo is more than likely going to run this score up if he can. The ACC is also in a down year and if some how Syracuse can go 8-4 and clemson posts a 30+ blowout it will look good to the playoff committee. Syracuse has a history of struggling with noon kickoff times, that goes for football and basketball, 87k plus in attendance (I will be at the game as well) if they start slow Saturday like they did against Flordia St this game will be over in the 1st quarter. If Bryant was starting and playing I would say yes this game will stay with-in 20 but this freshman is the real deal and i believe it was Dabo's plan all along to turn the reigns over to the freshman for this game. I hope Syracuse can keep it close but I plan on leaving by the end of the 3rd quarter because I feel this game is going to get ugly. Last I saw 65% were on Syracuse at 22 and the line has gone up to 24.
