With all the talent at WR, Winston gives them the best shot to Win the Division IMO.
I just hate, how everyone sniffed Fitzpatrick's JOCK and now he is a piece of shit and Winston will be back in the building Tuesday AM at 5:45 AM.
The guy is a C+ QB and the best backup a team could ask for.

fitz should still start. 2-1 with the offense playing as good as it has at times he is their best option. winston just isnt. fitz looked awful in the first half but almost brought them all the way back. tampa would have jumped at the chance to be 2-1 at this point before the season started. they went 2-1 vs saints, eagles and steelers. thats impressive
But Pats we also know what Winston is
Inconsistent & Inaccurate.
Mike Evans & DeSean Jackson even grumbled about it last year.
We know Fitz is only a temporary fix.
The hopes by many of us as Bucs fans is that they'll move on from Winston & draft another QB.
There have been many good looking young QB's drafted in the last couple of years.
I wish we could have ended up with one instead of being stuck with Jameis because of a General Manager who believed in him initially, but now probably holding on because he doesn't want to look wrong & job may depend on it.
I agree. Also, Fitzpatrick played some weak defenses especially Steelers. I said it during his success he isn't as good as he looks. The weapons he has helped him look that good first 2 games combined with the fact that he has all that talent around him. Any qb can have a great couple of games.
Let's see what he does against a real defense at Bears this Sunday if he plays.

Just don't think having a 9-7 year with the FitzP like the Jets did in '15 really does much for the Buccs overall. I do think they have a lot of talent though.
TE is consistently 1 of the hardest positions to learn in the NFL, 1 of the most injury prone too so it was gonna take Howard some time. Godwin was a nice steal too. Just needs to catch better.

Little chance for the latter....They are averaging 49 yds rushing while allowing 30 pts per game on defense.
Not a single game breaking back on the roster.
Keep going with Fitz and trade JW for a second rounder, maybe score a legit RB next spring when their 2018 non-playoff finish will have them picking in top half of draft

True, but that's what we thought about the first 3 games too.
But you're right, thru experience as a Bucs fan, I'm not a believer until i see it & we all know they still have a lousy defense ..
Bingo. As a bus fan I never wanted winston to begin with. No doubt he has a lot of talent but he does't win games. Last year Fitz started 3 games and went 2-1, winston started 13 games and went 3-10. We should just give the steelers winston for Leveon Bell and be done with it. Then next offseason we draft a qb. I've been over the Winston thing for a couple years now. I'm fully aware that Winston will probably be the qb after the bye week and I'm fully aware that he will put up what look to be pretty good stats, and tampa will lose most games he plays in.
