If Cousins is a franchise quarterback, then a crap I just took is a 5-Star chocolate moose luxury dessert!

Never understood the ranting and raving over the guy. He's like some overpaid pitcher in baseball that gets these massive contracts but is always just average at the end of the year.

"Oh whoops! It's the end of the game and there are 300 pound lineman trying to take my head off.... I honestly didn't realize. Here's a fumble for you! I didn't realize these lineman were trying to decapitate me. I thought I was just going through a walk in the park."

And his give-a-fuck O'meter is not as bad as Cutler as he just looks like he dropped his keys. No biggie.

Tell me how many great playoff victories Cousins has commanded....

The guy is overpriced trash. People still rant and rave about Cutler. He is so talented... blah blah blah.

At the end of the day he's trash.

I don't think I've heard anyone rant and rave about Cutler in this decade.

People equate team success to QB too much. Flacco, Eli, Foles, Washed Manning, Young Wilson all won rings in recent memory.

It's a team game.

They haven't raved about Cutler b/c he's done. But when he was drafted....

"All the metrics say he is a God.... blah blah blah." Then they shipped him to team after team and he was viewed as a top QB savior when the guy was a piece of trash that anybody with a brain could spot from 10 miles away.

His lazy haircut and lazy ass attitude was a dead giveaway that he sucked ass.

I just don't understand the fascination with Cousins. He's like some highly touted receiver that is good ..... but his reputation on his talent makes him a talking point while he's out DUI'ing and getting arrested all the time.

QB is the most important position on the field. Cousins is a step above a game manager QB. Thank God he didn't play for a Hall of Fame coach at his peak.... or we'd be hearing about how Cousins is the son of Jesus Christ and throws a 80 yard perfect spiral.

Was there something you didn't like about how he played last night? I can understand people maybe making a statement like that after the Buffalo game. But hard to imagine a QB playing much better than he did yesterday. Both QBs were lights out. QB rating of 117 for Cousins (422 yards, 72% completion, and 3 tds) and 158 for Goff (465 yards, 78.8% completions, 5 tds). You can't score higher than a 158 so Cousins was outstanding and Goff was over the top. If you want to blame anyone for last night, you might just take a peek at the defenses. 69 total points scored is nothing to write home about.

Cousins was outstanding?

Zero awareness in the pocket when two 300 lb lineman closing in on him at the most crucial moment of the game... and he gives up the game sealing turnover.

What's he have? A 2-1 touchdown to interception ratio lifetime?

He is a Tier 3 QB.

Level 1: Brady level

Level 2: Good but not great -- maybe Romo and others. (But maybe Romo not a good example)

Level 3: J.A.T. QB -- "Just above trash"

Level 4: Trash QB

I hope for your sake that you follow other people's plays

Sure thing, Mr. Professional Gambler making 10 million a year on his bets... Yeah right.

If you can't see that Cousins is a loser QB, then you can get an eye exam before closing today.

What's his lifetime record? 4 games above .500?

Seriously, tell me his lifetime record?

Lol. 26-30-1 as a starter with Washington.

27-32-1 current record?

And the Vikigns should be 1-3 right now were it not for that lucky tie in the GB game.

So you're telling me the Vikes got the big dog at QB and he might not even take them to the playoffs in 2018?

I do think if he can work on the fumble problem he has, he would be really really good. I consider him really good, not 2 really's.

Seriously though he just carved up one of the best defenses in the game, that's worth something.

It's the most important position in sports. A good qb can single handedly turn one of the worst teams in the league into a playoff contender.

Look at the Colts the year after Manning left and then with Luck.
Packers last year without Rodgers. Went from superbowl contender to instantly a bottom 5 team in the league.

Nobody said it isn't the most important position, just fans place too much credit/blame on QB performance because it is easy.

What are you even trying to say? That Kirk Cousins isn't Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Manning? Outliers much?

Yeah true, never thought of that before. That is definitely true.

And Rodgers/Manning aren't "good QB's" they're generational talents that are all-time greats.

This thread reminds me of a guy at work that was saying Tony Romo sucked when the Cowboys lost a game 51-48 to the Broncos back in 2013. I think it's hilarious when you get these astronomical scores on offense and the first thing a guy wants to do is blame the QB.
