Is there a reason why the Jags were ramming it up the Jets' chocolate outlet with 20 seconds left in the game?

Had the under. Game sealed. Kneel and game is over.

Amazingly, they fucking run it with seconds left to pour it on on the scoreboard?

Is this what happened or I get a fault recap?

Haven't seen this in a long, long time.

Plus these sons of bitches went for 2 points with fucking 25 seconds left?

i
TD
0:25
T.J. Yeldon 1 Yd Run (Two-Point Pass Conversion Failed)
9 plays, 65 yards, 3:57

What in the actual fuck happened?

And yes, had the under in a parlay of +2500 that finished with Ravens over the Steelers. And these fuckers run it into the zone with 25 seconds left.

Not seen that shit in a long, long time.

We had a lot of guys banged up for the PAT/field goal [team], and on the chart it just said 19 [points]," Marrone said. "On the chart it says go for two. I'm one of those guys, I never try to take anything for granted in an NFL game. Try to keep working those mechanics and doing it, so just went for two.

Quarterback Blake Bortles said he had no idea why Marrone chose to go for two -- "I just work here," he said jokingly -- but defensive tackle Malik Jackson said he believes Marrone does have some hard feelings toward the Jets organization.
"He doesn't like those guys," Jackson said. "I don't know what they did to him, but he doesn't like them."
If that's the case, then it might stem from what happened at the end of the 2014 NFL season and the first month of 2015. Marrone had just finished his second season as coach of the Buffalo Bills when he exercised a clause in his contract and opted out of the final two seasons on Jan. 1, 2015.
Two days later he interviewed for the head-coaching job with the Jets, where he had spent four seasons (2002-05) as the offensive line coach. On the same day a story in the New York Daily News was critical of how Marrone conducted himself with the Bills. Various anonymous sources criticized the way he treated players, coaches, staffers and other people inside the organization. In addition, a former assistant coach under Marrone at Syracuse ripped him publicly on the radio.
Marrone did not get the Jets job. Instead it went to Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, who is 21-31 in three-plus seasons.

Good info.

First answer is bullshit, second answer is more towards the truth.

No one ever, ever runs it when you can kneel to end the game. Greater than 99% of the time.

I had the "under" also, but I didn't expect to win the bet when they called the penalty that stopped the clock before the two minute warning. Jags would not have been able to kneel and completely run out the time with first down happening before the two minute warning. My observation is most coaches would at least kick a fg in that scenario (so that puts the wager "over" anyway). The fact that they went for it on fourth down actually gave the people that wagered the "under" a glimmer of hope.

I had the under as well. Listened to the last 3 min on the radio.

As body said, that penalty before the 2 minute warning screwed everything up as the jags would have gone victory formation to end the game.

They were giving Yeldon shotgun snaps and was hoping Yeldon would just fall down on 4th down giving the jets the long field down 2 scores. The radio broadcasters (jags) said it looked like the jets werent playing defense on that play. I read in the newspaper this morning that Marrone went for 2 b/c thats what the "book" says to do. The newspaper also noted that the Jets turned Marrone down for a job 2 years ago

I remember a couple years ago I was playing against Palmer and Fitz in fantasy and the cardinals were up by a million in the 4th quarter. But these mother fuckers did not let their foot off the gas at all. Kept passing and kept scoring the entire fourth quarter.

Makes more sense. Thanks.

On the surface a TD with 25 seconds up 13 looks ludicrous. Is what it is.
