Lying turd Twittler tried to claim that the FBI could interview anybody it deemed fit, but, that's clearly not the case. Collins and Flakey got the hammer, for the moment, and they're making noise.:pointer:Shush()*popcorn-eatinggif

Just in from the Portland Press Herald:

Sen. Collins wants 3rd Kavanaugh accuser interviewed as part of broader investigation

Sen. Susan Collins wants the FBI to investigate the allegations brought by Julie Swetnick as part of the agency’s probe of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, a Collins spokeswoman said Monday.

Collins and Republican Sens. Jeff Flake of Arizona and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska “advocated for the additional background investigation because she believed that it could help the Senators evaluate the claims that have been brought to the Judiciary Committee,” said spokeswoman Annie Clark in a statement to the Press Herald. “That would include the allegations that were brought by Julie Swetnick.”

Clark said FBI investigators “can determine whom they need to speak with and should follow appropriate leads. Senator Collins was encouraged by the President’s statements that he would give the FBI agents the latitude they need to do their work. It makes sense to start with the four named witnesses from the hearing and then the FBI can follow any leads that it believes need to be pursued, as Senators Flake, Murkowski, and Collins indicated at the time this agreement was made.”

Swetnick, of course, is the woman who alleges that Kavanaugh and Mark Judge attended gang rape parties in High School.

This is a big shift, imo, and I think Collins is signaling that she’s fixin to vote no. The continuing flurry of confirmation and corroboration of Dr Ford’s portrayal of Kavanaugh and Judge as flagrant, violent drunks has the centrists wanting FBI cover for their eventual no votes.

And this statement by Collins is a shot across Trump’s broad bow, letting him know that pulling the nomination is his best choice at this point.

This is a pretty big development.

... Yes, Gang Rape parties are going to bring it crashing down... The most likeliest of scenarios.

I think there is the very very very slightest chance they are pressing the FBI to interview this witness to prove what a sham this whole hearing and accusations are.

Unlike yours (and thedailykos) who believe there is an underground gang rape club he was a part of, and there are parties held for just that thing. Thats obviously the -9999 favorite

If you can somehow force a liberal into a point-counterpoint argument, his retorts will bear no relation to what you said--unless you were, in fact, talking about your looks, your age, your weight, your personal obsessions, or whether you are a fascist. In the famous liberal two-step, they leap from one idiotic point to the next, so you can never nail them. It's like arguing with someone with Attention Deficit Disorder. - Ann Coulter

She went to 9 gang rape parties. These were high school parties she was at college. She went to the 10th party and she was raped, then did not go to anymore.

10 gang rape parties, boys queuing outside rooms to gang rape.

None of this leaked out in over 30 years.

Butt, she didn't say it wasn't him

:think2:

If I were BK's defense attorney, I'd beg for the prosecution to use her as a witness. If I were the prosecution, she's dead to me. However, she serves a purposes, she's a lure for the fucking idiots of this world to swallow every morning of their pathetic lives.

Kavanaugh accuser Julie Swetnick's ex claims she threatened to kill his unborn child, screamed 'hit me' during rows and 'exaggerated everything' during their seven-year relationship

4693970-0-image-a-47_1538475906704.jpg

Richard Vinneccy (inset bottom), who says he dated Swetnick from 1994 until 2001 (left and right), says she acted 'crazy' during their time together, always wanted to be the 'centre of attention' and threatened him after they broke up. Mr Vinneccy said after getting death threats against him, his new wife and their unborn child from Swetnick (inset top) he applied for a restraining order, but didn't follow through with it for fear of 'provoking her'. Speaking about her allegations that Brett Kavanaugh was present at drunken house parties where girls, including her, were gang raped, Mr Vinneccy says: 'I don't believe her.'

The ex-boyfriend of Brett Kavanaugh accuser Julie Swetnick says she 'exaggerated everything' during their relationship and often acted 'crazy' - including telling him to 'hit me' during arguments.
Richard Vinneccy says he dated Swetnick 'on and off' between 1994 and 2001 before leaving her for his wife, with whom he has at least one child.
Mr Vinneccy said that Swetnick's continued to hound him even after they broke up, even threatening to kill him, his wife, and their unborn infant.

The threats were so severe, he told Fox News, that he applied for a restraining order - though never went through with it because he did not want to 'provoke her'.

Speaking alongside his lawyer, Mr Vinneccy told Lauren Ingraham that Swetnick 'never once' mentioned the issue of sexual assault to him while they were dating.
Swetnick claims to have witnessed a severely drunk Brett Kavanaugh alongside his friend Mark Judge at high school parties in the 1980s.
She claims that Kavanaugh was present at parties where girls were gang raped and says that on one occasion she was the victim of such a rape.

Swetnick claims to have witnessed Brett Kavanaugh being excessively drunk at parties where girls, including her, were gang raped

Addressing those accusations, Mr Vinneccy said: 'I don't believe her. I really don't believe her.'
He added: 'She always wanted to be the center of attention... She was exaggerating everything. Everything that came out of her mouth was just exaggerations.'
Mr Vinneccy has spoken out once before, in an interview with Politico, which uncovered a court docket filed in Miami-Dade County in 2001 for an injunction against Swetnick by Mr Vinneccy.
Thirteen days later the case was dismissed, not long after an affidavit of non-ability to advance fees was filed.
At the time he claimed to have 'evidence' that her claims against Kavanaugh were untrue, but has so far failed to present that evidence.
Michael Avennatti, the lawyer who brought forward Swetnick's claims, told Politico that there was 'no truth' to Mr Vinneccy's claims.
Meanwhile Swetnick also gave an interview on Monday night to NBC in which she reiterated her claim that Kavanaugh was present at a party where she was raped.
In the interview, she said she had graduated high school and was at community college when she began attending house parties where she met Kavanaugh.
She says she remembers meeting him because of his 'distinctive face', and claims he often wore part of his uniform for Georgetown Prep - the school he attended.
While at the parties, she claims he was often drunk and often inappropriate around women, including 'pawing' at them, trying to 'shift' clothing, and 'groping' them.

'I saw him push girls into walls,' she said. 'He would pretend to be drunk and stumble and push them against walls.'
Swetnick said she would often see Kavanaugh hanging around in groups of boys outside bedrooms at these parties, laughing and joking together.
At the time, she says she thought nothing of the behavior - until the night she was allegedly gang-raped.
Now she believes the boys were waiting in turns to attack women she says were inside the rooms.
Describing her own attack, she said she remembers feeling unwell before being pushed into a room and having her clothes torn off by multiple boys.
'I was touched everywhere, physically assaulted in every way you can physically assault a woman,' she said.

Julie Swetnick also gave an interview on Monday night where she admitted she 'cannot say' whether Kavanaugh attacked her at a party in the 80s, but insisted that she saw him behaving inappropriately with other women

'What happened to me is probably the most horrendous, awful thing that can happen to a human being.
'My body was violated, my soul was broken. To not able to have someone stop when I said "no, stop"...
'I felt like someone took me and said you are worthless, you are nothing to us, you are disposable.'
Swetnick says she cannot be sure that Kavanaugh was among the attackers but says she remembers him hanging around in the area where she started feeling unwell, and remembers hearing him laughing along with others.
Kavanaugh has vociferously denied Swetnick's allegations, saying he has never met her and accusing her of fabricating her story.
Swetnick also addressed Mr Vinneccy's claims against her, saying they were 'nonsense' and that she never received a restraining order.

No, no, no. That's not what you're supposed to say. He was a heavy drinker that used
to black out. Remember? Good lord where do we find the amateurs? How are we going to
stop this nominee if we can't keep our stories straight?
