Great call! How do you typically fare full season?

I ask because I generally don't bet hockey, but there was no football or baseball tonight and I do enjoy the sport, so I took a shot (thanks for the win!).

As far as gambling goes, how does hockey size up in terms of long term profitability, swings, strategies, etc.?

My hockey is usually pretty good, although last year was losing year. I absolutely suck at NBA, somewhat suck at CBB, NFL is a crapshoot, so hockey is probably second best sport for me after CFB.
After reviewing it, played way too many games last year.

Everyone is different, but for me, NHL can be very profitable. I think there is less randomness here than in other sports. Very much a team game - it is very rare when one player takes over a game (NBA, MLB) or one player is such a huge part of success or failure (NFL QB's come to mind). It does happen occasionally, but it revolves more around the team's lines. As with any other daily sport, handicapping results can swing wildly from day to day, even week to week.

There are many others in this forum far more versed than me in NHL, so watching and following is a good way to go.
