I use Gilette Series Cool Wave. The chics love it. For all the expensive colognes I wear, the ladies seem to like this scent the best. Just proves you don't need 180.00 Cologne to smell great.

Anyways, my question is, what aftershave do you guys use or think is best?

It popped into my head because today I bought a bottle of Aqua Velva, you know, the blue one. The scent men have been supposedly wearing since the World War days lol.

I was thinking of giving it a chance and wearing it out but don't want people to think I smell like an old man. I can't seem to figure out if the smell is good or bad. I think my old man used to wear it too. I still think it's better than half the metrosexual crap scents a lot of these morons hipsters wear a lot. My colognes and aftershaves are more masculine type scents. Classic.

I think I might have went too old school though. Any of you guys still wear Aqua Velva? Worried about smelling like an old dude? I really can't decide if the scent is good or bad. Lol. Maybe it's time for bad. I might just end up throwing it away. No idea why I bought it.

Anyways, fuck it's late. Time for bed. See you losers tomorrow! Let's win some more money this NFL weekend! Last Sunday was wicked! Cleaned up and still celebrating lol. It's Friday!

Yup. Tried it. Got some comments at office. Girls are so quick to notice even the most subtle things. ''New aftershave?'' Hmm.

Lol. Sounds like a white male cuck all the way.

You going to wear your pussy heat when things start heating up in Washington?

I'm a Brut man myself, have been since my first shave. Get lots of compliments from the ladies on it.

I'm big on time management, and have always shaved in the shower, don't even use shaving cream. I get a closer shave, and zero skin irritation. Don't use aftershave either, just throw on a little lotion.

Yawn. If you're trying to get at me you have to do better than that kid.

Cuck? Is that what you're about? Aren't you the one that started the thread about swinging or was that somebody else? Lol. Can't remember.

In any case...yawn.

A lot of guys brush and shave in shower to save time. Shaving in shower is smart because the warm water gets the pores open and it's an easier and smoother shave.

I hear ya.

How are y'all shaving in shower with no mirror?

I can't shave in the shower but it is a smart move as it opens up the pores and saves time. I know many do it but as you said, I need to have a mirror and shave by the sink.

You know, back in the day a father used to teach his kid how to shave properly. yes there is a right way and many wrongs ways. Seems it's a lost art now for some. Now that I'm implying that shaving in the shower is the wrong way. It's not. I'm talking about technique, preparation etc. For some it doesn't matter I guess but I have a thick stubble so it matters if you use the right technique to avoid irritation.

Hot water for skin and blade, followed by a cold rinse. Nivea Sensitive Skin or cooling balm for afterwards.

Nivea. Nice. I've used it especially in winter. Other times I just use Gillette Coolwave aftershave. Nivea has some fine products.

Tend Skin for irritation such as redness and/or razor bumps has been great for me.

My barber uses a steam machine kinda like you get wrinkles out of clothes with before and during the shave, along with the hot towel treatment, followed by cold towels afterwards. It’s jam up. Won’t even consider a barber that can’t work a true straight razor with precision...
