How long do you think you'll live

Five years ago when my Wife and went to update our life insurance policy. They did a bunch of testing and when we met with the broker he said " well it looks like you will live to 91 and your wife will live to 92"

So that's what I am gunning for...Since turning 50 I have been thinking alot about retirement, health etc....But having a goal post to shoot for is good. I don't want to run out of money so financial planning is very important to me as well.

The other day I was reading the book Homo Deus by Yuval Noah Harari...I just started after finishing Sapiens which was facinating. He mention that Google is funding a company called https://www.calicolabs.com/
to do biological research into aging in search of the fountain of youth. He predicts that by the start of next century wealthy individuals will be able to extend their lives to 250 years.

So how long do you think you'll live?

My goal has always been 100, but realistically getting to 90 is probably a closer number. Almost 63, retired and in excellent health right now so right on track.

I've already outlived my dad and both grandfathers..Currently 69, but have health issues.... Not sure gonna say 80 -82. I feel pretty good.

Fishhead told me the other day he will live to be at least 106 ..he is only 30 yrs away now ..... I only want to live as long as I can take a shit by myself and not need others cleaning Me... Whatever that age is

You are obviously a terrible oddsmaker. +200 for a plane crash? Is this a paper plane or something? +200!??? Don’t think I’d ever get on a plane again if that were the odds.

Car crash way more likely than a plane crash.

Although this is clearly a touchy subject for some , it is story that is not going away.

if man can extend his life by putting machine parts into himself he will do it and from that point on it will escalate.
