Would anyone like to start an NBA Contest Month-by-month (like the MLB one)?

*We can organize it of next month. I would be wiling to grade the games (very carefully). I know I make a lot of dumb mistakes lol

I actually thought about this too....

I originally started the MLB one and provided the format, but I don't have time to run it myself.

If JOH runs it, I'd be in for sure.

When it comes to grading and posting the lines I can help out or do it on my own.

And I work for free.

Mistake free

I'm in if it's a go.

Also fine with whoever sets up and grades it and think an admin fee to the organizer (particularly JOH or BAS) is very fair.

Here's hoping contests like these are the wave of the future.

Thanks for the suggestion gentleman capper and the offer to grade Greenbacks.

The NBA would be really fun. Last year JOH ran a mega contest that included NBA, NHL, and MLB.

Ideas ...FWIW...75 total plays for Oct/Nov. $150 entry. Prizes based on number of entries... possible winner take all like baseball. 60 total plays Dec going forward. $100 entry. Prizes TBD. All plays 1 unit. Get 5 three unit plays for October/Nov and 3 three unit plays Dec going forward. 5 plays max per day. Play ATS or total only.

I like it!

My only thought is this...should we have separate nba and nhl contests? The reason I ask is that maybe there are some nba players who would play if not for the nhl requirement or maybe there are nhl players that don’t like the nba.

Combining them is fine with me. I’d play both sports no matter how it’s set up. Just wondering if combining is a turnoff to others.

Just thought a 10 play minimum on each sport would eliminate that concern somewhat. ^^^

I was looking just for a monthly NBA contest.

Good luck

I am in for the double crossover maybe down the road we can branch out into two separate contests, but it’s a good way to start.

What's gonna bring in the most entries, NBA Only or 2 sports? That's the question.

I'd honestly just prefer nba rather than both but I'd prob still play in the crossover...let me know.

How about a crossover where there is no minimum for either sport as long as you get the required monthly plays in? In other words you could do all nba or all nhl if you want.

I too would prefer a separation of the sports but am fine with the crossovers.

I’m in for the cross over. It was fun last year.

I think having both would be good As I’m the opposite and like the NHL a lot more than nba betting-wise.

This might satisfy everybody. Fine by me if we go this route.
