The #’s can only be altered by the table and only in the correct weeks, accuracy is a must, one mistake and you change the trajectory and render the system flawed, you won’t get the desired results the rest of the season....maybe forever.
The teams assigned #’s never change by individual choice or feel no matter what...they will find their own place from the adjustments.
When you have done the final adjustment after week 17, those are the #’s that are used for week 1 of next year’s regular season.
The #’s do not work for preseason or postseason no matter what.

Ratings #’s.....Indianapolis 126. Tennessee 110...Indy a road fav by 16
Final score......Indianapolis 23 Tennessee 20.......Indianapolis wins by 3
Explanation.....Indianapolis should have won by 16, they won by 3, a difference of 13 pts in Tennessee’s favor.
Adjustment table....go to week 3, find 13pts (10-14pts)...the change is 2.
Adjust the #’s....Tennessee’s favor (for tenn and against Indy)
New #’s for week 4......Indianapolis 124. Tennessee 112
