Warriors
118-9
Over the past few weeks, as Steph Curry and Draymond Green have been out with injuries, we've been reminded what a team looks like when Kevin Durant is the clear-cut No. 1 option (and at times the No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 option as well). While Curry was out for 11 games, Durant averaged 33.7 points and a monstrous 23.5 field-goal attempts per game. But the Warriors were only 5-6 during that stretch, a reminder that Curry has always been and will always be more important to this team's success than Durant. His one-man effort was ridiculous in three games last week, when he scored 44, 49 and 51 points in consecutive games.

Kevin Durant was brought in to counter LeBron James in playoff situations, when the game gets slower and you need someone to knock down a tough shot when the 3s aren’t falling and the offense is out of sync. That’s pretty much it.

Curry and Thompson are the bloodline of Golden State, and they are more impressive on a nightly basis in the regular season when it’s just those two running around and letting it fly, while Green handles the dirty work with a couple of other solid defenders who don’t need the ball.

Durant won’t help them set regular season records, but he helps them a lot deep into the playoffs

27- 14 @midpoint

The Warriors enter the midpoint of the season with a 27-14 record after picking up their 10th straight win over the Knicks, completing the season sweep of New York for the fifth straight season.
The Dubs will look to complete another season sweep of an opponent on Friday when they close out their two-game homestand against the Bulls
