This 21 year old that poured beer on Hill. I understand it was stupid. He's 21 and drunk and 21 year old's do dumb things.

I understand being banned. Set the precedent right then and there that it's not acceptable.

But now they are pressing charges AND Tyreek Hill is sueing the kid? A millionaire professional athlete is suing a 21 year old for getting beer on him?

wtf

If someone ever threw beer on me in any context and I could fuck them over then I would do so. Ain’t no fun when the rabbit got the gun.

Actions have consequences. Let him take his medicine. People aren’t paying the stupidity tax nearly enough in society these days anyway.

His consequence is that at only 21 years old he can never go to another pats game. Won't be able to take his wife, kids, grandkids to a patriots game ever. And i believe that is a fair punishment. Like you said, live with the consequences of a bad decision.

But why does Hill need to go after a 21 year old for getting beer on him? Just makes him look like a pussy

It takes no effort on Hills part to do this. Just tell your lawyer to handle it.

If im 1 of the best athletes in the world some shitkicker isn’t throwing a beer on me and getting away with it. You can call that vindictiveness If you want but it just isn’t happening if I can take 30 seconds to tell my lawyer to inconvenience this clown.

people should be held accountable for their actions regardless of where it takes place. sporting event or not. pouring a beer on someone is like spitting on them. a ban is nothing, if its criminal then prosecute them. i have no problem it and hope it teaches others that you cant just do whatever you want at a sporting event.

How would they enforce the ban?

Buy tickets on stubhub and walk through the gates? Not showing ID when you enter an NFL game.

Obviously the kid couldn't walk into another game this season or maybe next season. But in two years nobody will remember his face

they really cant and if they caught they could say he was trespassing....but again they probably wouldnt prosecute them. its not a real punishment, just a publicity thing

Here's the real kicker in Foxboro, tickets are extremely hard to get because just about the entire stadium is full of season ticket holders, especially lower arena, they might have a few nose bleed seats they hold out for general public sales at the beginning of the season but that's it. Who ever owned that seat that the kid was in, will lose every seat he had in his name forever and even if it was a block of 2,4 or 6, he loses all them no ifs ands or buts about it. The only way a season ticket holder in Foxboro won't be held responsible for trouble in that seat, is if he isn't going to the game, he can turn his tickets back into the Patriot ticket office to get reimbursed for them and then the Patriots sell them and assume the liability for knuckleheads. My good friend 2 years ago had 4 - 50 yard line tickets that he's had for 30+ years. He gave 2 tickets to a father and son and another 2 to a father and son for the last pre-season game of the year. Neither knew each other, the 2 teenagers got in a little pissing match and security was called, 4 days later, certified letter, turn every ticket in before this Sat. for a full refund on the upcoming season and if you don't bring the tickets, no refund and tickets will be blocked and anyone in those seats will be detained for trespassing, no ifs ands or buts about it. A lot of my friends have season tickets in Foxboro and they are scared to death to just let anyone use them, if they have the time and know they can't go in advance, they send them back to the Patriots and if they don't they just eat them for the day.

I didn't even know that season tickets could be passed on to someone else. Guy I know got 1st row seats behind end zone because a friend of his that he went to the games w/ died and he left them to him.

I figured if you died it just went back into the queue. That's crazy you can bequeath like that. No wonder the waiting list is like 12 years.

That is true, the Patriots will honor a will of a long time season ticket holder

Is that for death only or can it be passed via other ways? Say someone is old and tells them they can't brave the weather/trip for games anymore...
