So I took my daughter to the Packer game last night. We normally bring some beer and tailgate, but my daughter wanted to go into the stadium early to watch warmups and try to get some good pics. 10,000 other people had the same idea. We went off to find some food and settled for this...

2 turkey wraps at $10.00 each
1 fountain soda $6.50
1 16 oz tap beer $11.00

We got tickets at face value for $122 each 50 rows up in the corner of the end zone and parked right across from Lambeau for $40. Bought one other 24oz can of beer for $11 and 2 16 oz cans from my seat for $8.50 each.

Although way overpriced, I don't think this is bad but Green Bay is small market. I haven't traveled to road games in years so I don't know what prices are like out there.

What do you guys pays at games in your area?

I think you paid enough to park at Foxboro.

Including food, if you tailgate

$ 300 to get in the door
$ 50 to park
$ 15 beer

My biggest problem is that I'm a seat connisuer and I like great seats. So getting in the door is not what I'm looking for. T hat also means I usually have to subsidize the cost of tickets for whomever us going to the game with me

I'm stupid like that

4 beers and two hot dogs totaled over $80 at Dodger Stadium. I think it was 16 bucks per beer and 8 or 9 per dog.

And to think there was a tip cup as well....

My issue is that I'm not going to go and just get decent seats. If I'm driving close to two hours one way to see the Colts play i'm getting first 10 rows as close to midfield as possible. around $400-500 per ticket

For pacers I have to be first 5 rows which gets you access to the vip section - badass bar and entertainment right by the locker rooms $500 per ticket

For reds games I will ONLY sit on first row above reds dugout by the dugout stairs. I sit in the exact same seat every time. The value is actually a little better in MLB. These run me around $225 per ticket.

spent well over a grand the last time i saw the redskins play when you add up everything for the 2 of us to go
hockey is better, can get cheap seats close to the ice and see almost everything.
the best way to enjoy football is from your own home, in game betting and grilling out.
save hundreds anyway.

i used to put 200 on the redskins to win the nfc every year saying if they won it would buy my super bowl ticket, which it likely wouldnt since those prices are outrageous. if they win, im not sure i would even go since i dont enjoy going to games much anymore.

I'm the same.

The problem is once you start sitting in the premium seats and experience the difference, you are not ever going back to the cheap seats.

Sat on the floor for the first time last season at a Pacers game. Crazy thing about the NBA is that the very first row on the floor is double the price of row 2

I have always said this.

NFL is the sport made for TV.

The product is better on television than in person.

I only go to one game a year and find myself checking stats from the rest of the league half the time.

NBA and MLB are better in person.

I'm stupid like that too. Took my daughter to the College World Series 2 years ago because I had my of my "summer boys" playiing in it. It was like $10 to sit in the bleachers, but I paid about $150 a ticket to be 20 rows behind home plate
