I forgot they made another season somewhat recently so I started it last night (first 2 episodes were great). When people list their favorite shows of all time I rarely see it listed but man I love the show it's in my top 5 for sure. The humor is right up my alley it's like a smarter version of Seinfeld where they don't have to worry about being on network TV.

Anyone else? My wife doesn't like it at all so maybe it's just me.

Amazing show. Will be starting the new season soon. I was a huuuge Seinfeld fan, and feel like Curb is even better. Like the OP said, it was able to expand a little more by not being a network show. Really like no studio audience too.

Do you like the Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee show that Seinfeld has now? I think there are some hilarious episodes in that.

Ya, Curb is the GOAT comedy easily.

The stuff with Lin Manuel Miranda last season was very good.

If I had to use one word to describe "Curb your Enthusiasm" it would be inconsistent.

I can't recall seeing a comedy series that had episodes that were nothing short of brilliant but also having so many episodes that were just so-so. I can't recall a time watching an episode of Seinfeld and ever feeling any were just so-so. You always knew what you were going to get with that show. Yes, some episodes were funnier than others but all were above average. If someone had a suitcase with a million dollars in it and told me I had to pick one 30 minute comedy episode, and if he laughed, I would get the money, I would go with an episode of CURB, hands down over anything done on Seinfeld. And that episode would be the "Car Pool Lane" (I was laughing so hard I was crying). Pure brilliance. But there were also many episodes that might have gotten a small chuckle from me but left me scratching my head saying that wasn't really very funny.

So they owned 90% of the slave ships... and they run these comedy shows, too. Bravo for them.

And they're victims in their own minds. That's comedy enough right there.
