An escalator in a Rome metro station packed with CSKA Moscow football fans went haywire and started accelerating, leaving 20 people injured on Tuesday.

I read the fans were jumping up and down and that caused the problem...

Who doesn't move on a sinking ship?

A lot of those people being sent to the slaughterhouse and didnt move a muscle. If I was at mid-level or higher I would've avoided the smash.

Before you hit bottom I can picture you jumping up in the air onto the pile like Dick Butkus jumping on a pile of quarterbacks or a gang bang orgy.

That guy was out of shape and unathletic. Yet he was the only one to do it. I give him credit.

Although I didn't like his lawyer roll around on the ground act afterwards. Auditioning for pro soccer, I guess.

LOL, over a dozen? Where third world countries have you lived in again?

Football? Ummmm, it's called 'soccer'.

LOL, I know, right?

And it seems people might have still been getting on after it was broken, although I can't be certain

was on a near disastrous elevator incident when Barcelona played Man United to open up The Linc in Philly

it was the first-ever event there any going up their first escalator there is then a turn to the left to get on the 2nd escalator. Well, the 2nd escalator was broke and the 1st was working fine so there was a jumped mass of people on the landing b/w the escalators which was backing up onto the working 1st escalator. I was right at the top of the 1st escalator so just sort of threw my elbows out to create some room as the folks coming up the escalator behind me were set to start crushing us all. luckily i slid to my left and hopped onto the non-working 2nd escalator to start up those stairs but people were getting fucked up behind me before someone thought to shut the 1st escalator down

leave it to philly to forget to test the escalators on their new $700M building
