Not sure that trade is as bad as it sounds. Almost certainly all those first round picks are going to be at or near the end of the first round and almost be 2nd rounders. I believe Houston then gets Butler's bird rights also...

But I am of the opinion that Houston would have beaten Golden State if chris paul didn't get hurt....with that said Houston got worse this year and golden state might have gotten better...

I know the wolves offer the bucks butler for khris middleton which got immediately turned down.

Picks in football are much different than in basketball. Plus each team at most plays around 10 guys unlike football.

If Paul didn't get hurt Rockets were winning that series no doubt

The Warriors blew two very winnable games in that series and outscored the Rockets by an average of 9 ppg... a shit ton in an NBA playoff series. Golden State played a horrible series (and season really) and still won the whole thing. No one is beating them .

Also the Rockets did what the Rockets do and choked Game 7 with 27 straight missed 3s. So bad.

I say it is. Houston is gonna pick around 25th in the draft so it’s worth it. In the nba, you cannot give up number 1 picks in consecutive years (something like that) so the picks given up will be every other year.

Curious to know if these picks are lottery protected??
