Cruz R TX

Menendez D NJ

A Republican from a deep red state and a Democrat from a deep blue state both lead their opponents in polling averages by 7% ish

The media talks about Cruz all the time, he's in trouble, the democrats can flip a big state yada yada yada ........... into infinity and beyond

Menendez? not a peep, forgetaboutit, just doesn't fit the narrative of the criminal corrupt colluding always lying democratic media

Timely that you bring this up Willie.

The Cook Political Report just moved NJ to "tossup" from "Lean D"

I don't know why as the polling appears to be near what it is in TX. Apparently they have access to non-public polling so it will be interesting to see if NJ is closer than TX on election day.
