Last week I had my largest wager of year on UGA and covered easily... And won Wash St to go 2-0 +17.5k. Most of you that know me know I wager on few games and choose my spots wisely..

Don't get too caught up in the hype about LSU at home, biggest game of decade for them.. Blah, blah, blah...

Crimson Tide wins this game VERY easily. They are hands down WAY better in all aspects of the game than any other team. Only small weakness is DB's and I dont see that getting exploited by LSU. I will buy the point to cover my basis with this size bet.

I will have one early game on Saturday as well but waiting on line movement.

Tide -13.5 (-130) My CFB GOY
15k

I don't agree with your statement that Bama is "hands down WAY better in all aspects of the game".

1. LSU has the better defensive backfield and they are leading the nation with 14 interceptions....against a much more competitive schedule than the one Bama has played.
2. LSU as a much better kicker than Bama, and it isn't even close.
3. LSU has a defensive line that is just as good as Bama's and LSU's linebackers are very good as well.

Bama's offense is much better than LSU's, but it's hard to compare them because of the distorted strength of schedule difference. Plus, only a naive person, or someone who has never actually been to Tiger Stadium for a BIG game, would categorize LSU's stadium as "hype".

I'll wager 15k as well.....only I won't have to buy a point. Give me LSU +14.5

Looking at your Avatar, seems you may have some emotional attachment to your bet as well. Florida contained LSU run game and you guys went 4-17 on 3rd down conversion trying to throw the ball. Bama gonna execute 10 times better than Florida. No way LSU wins trailing in this game. They will not stop Bama offense. Bama score 40 either way. You think LSU can score 26? I don't

I think Bama's offensive line wears down that defensive line your touting as I predict LSU D will be on field way too long. Game closer than any game Bama has played at halftime and then it will get out of hand in second half.

Bill's, my man. If you dont think you have an edge, pass. Find one you are more confident in... I looked at this couple days and came to an easy outcome. I will predict 42 -17.

I do not buy that the LSU SOS is of major significance here. I look at SOS when you get to the last game and the bowl season and you still have to take it careful, like for years Sagarrin had the Pac 12 teams in bowls overrated as hell, you'd see # 6, 11, 14, 21, 31 SOS and they'd get massacred.

Bama - 14 is the way to go, LSU cannot pass well enough to compete, and Bama can... in fact has one of the top passers in the land. Both teams will struggle to run at first, but since LSU is not a top passing team it will affect them more. Bama will pass successfully and that will open up their potent run game.

LSU lost to Florida, not a well rounded team. LSU beat Georgia, sure, but 1) Fromm was terrible 2) GA defense is not what they were last year, 3) LSU got most of the breaks and more...

Do not fall for the old LSU at home getting points notion, Bama of a bye and this is their big game.

Agree with BANG!

Being a Tide fan, I agree with some points that Bang has made and some points you have made Pete. I would not necessarily say that LSU has a better defensive backfield. I would say that LSU has a more experienced backfield. Everyone except Deionte Thompson is a new starter this year. He along with 5 star true freshman will be playing on Sunday's to back up my point. As far as the kicking game is concerned, i completely agree with you Pete that LSU is far more talented than Alabama. As far as the D line is concerned LSU is not nearly as good as Alabama's. Sr Isaiah Buggs and Jr Raekwon Davis will both go in the draft next year on day 1 or 2. Im not really sure how you top 5 stars Mack Wilson and 5 star Dylan Moses at the LB positions. Pete when you say that the Tide's offense is hard to compare because of there strength of schedule i can see your point. But the bottom line is Alabama has the BEST PLAYER on the field Saturday night and the BEST PLAYER in college football in Tua Tagovailoa. HE WILL WIN THE HEISMAN and HE WILL be the first pick in the 2020 draft. Let's be honest with here, coaches get fired at LSU for 1 reason. That is because they CAN'T beat Alabama. Les knows. Alabama has won 7 in a row and are 27-9-2 in Baton Rouge. I really do think that Alabama or Nick are very intimidated in LSU's stadium or death valley as they say.

Bama record in Death Valley is even more fuel to the fire for my wager.
