Western Michigan lost their senior starting quarterback during the game last week. Line was Western Michigan -2 but has since flipped with this news. I did a bit of digging on this one and here’s what I came up with...

Western Michigan freshman QB Kaleb Eleby will work as starter with senior Jon Wassink (ankle) out for the foreseeable future.

It's being reported that Wassink could miss the remainder of the season due to torn ankle ligaments sustained in Thursday's loss to Toledo. Eleby received an extended run in that contest and played well given the circumstance, completing 23-of-28 passes for 293 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The former three-star recruit ranked as Rivals' No. 20 dual-threat quarterback prospect in the 2018 class when he signed on with the Broncos over the winter. He's the highest-ranked quarterbacking recruit in program history.

The other concern is that WM has had no defense the last 2 of 3 games. Even if Eleby is decent, the question is why did the defense fail so badly the last 2 of 3 weeks against Toledo (Scored 51) and Bowling Green (35).

I do like when lines cross over zero. WM is risky but could cover if Eleby doesn't choke.

Likely on them myself. They are used to playing tough teams. I.E. Cuse and Michigan

GL tonight.
