49ers managament is fantasizing about hiring Belichek so they can fire again a huge winner like Harbaugh!

Been following this fucking trainwreck in San Francisco for a while now.

Lol, firing Harbaugh is like kicking a supermodel out of your bed!

Figured this was some long lost thread. Still living in 2014, huh? I'd take my chances with Shanahan over Harbaugh any day. Harbaugh has never won a championship and I doubt he ever will. Too many dumb coaching decisions in big games.

Ha ha. Thanks for the laugh on Shanahan. The guy 6-10 and 2-7 with the Niners. The odds of him taking the Niners to the Superbowl are almost zero.

Harbaugh is a winner whether people like to admit it or not. The only knock on him is he always ends up losing the big game. Does he make it this year to the semis or finals to Bama and lose the big one... very good possibility for that.

There's a good chance that Michigan will be in the title game in the next couple of years and that's only b/c of Harbaugh.

Personally, I'm not a fan of Harbaugh but the guy wins.

Glad you enjoyed the laugh. I'm curious how well you think other coaches would have done with the injury situation Shanahan encountered this year? Not to mention, most of the talent on the team has little to do with him (how many drafts has he gone through?). In the meantime, exactly how many championships has Harbaugh won again? Lots of "there's a good chance" BS with the guy, but he always makes the dumb decision when the chips are on the line. He belongs in Michigan and no, he won't be winning a championship with them any time soon. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I never said he'll win the big one, but I think he'll probably make it to the title game sooner or later.

Look at the Niners before and after Harbaugh. The guy took a pile of shit and made it into a 5-star diamond. And with that shit managament behind him. Shanahan is not going to be some great winning coach.

It would've helped if Shan had lucked into a HOF QB like that Pitt coach or that water buffalo coach at GB. Those guys are the luckiest guys on the planet and I guarantee neither one of them would've taken the Niners to the Superbowl. They are the Tyron Lue coaches of the NFL. Tyron Lue wins a ring with Bron, but the second Bron cashes out and skips town Lue's team can't complete a bounce pass.

Hey, I'm just talking about Shanahan so don't waste my time with the Schmuck before him with your silly recordkeeping . And yes, Shanahan will be a better coach then Harbaugh and I'm convinced had he had the team that Harbaugh had, he would have won the Superbowl against Baltimore and beaten the Seahawks in the NFC Championship game after that. Harbaugh just turns into a moron every time he gets in the biggest games of his life. I'm still amazed at the stupidity of his play calling in the final downs of the Superbowl, not to mention his horrendous clock management in the Seattle game. Everyone in my house was screaming as he let roughly 30 seconds tick off the clock in that game. I have never seen such idiotic coaching. It's not like he was in the lead (they needed a TD). So he goes and puts undue pressure on his offense when it was totally unnecessary. The Niners defense had kept the Seahawks in check the entire game with the exception of one blown play. But, oh no, you can't let Wilson have any time on the clock even though you can't win the game if you don't score. Fucking brilliant!

The 49ers glory days were when Eddie D ran team. Unlike the other owners in the NFL he had an open checkbook. He provided the best facilities for his players, the best travel, the best food. Before the salary cap he spent whatever was needed to get and retain players. He had a terrific coach in Bill Walsh.

We can disagree. No problem. I don't know how you got a good vibe with Shan, but it's early for his career.

And yes, I admit, Harbaugh is a little in the retarded zone. A great coach and a proven winner.... probably like the only down syndrome QB to ever win the Superbowl -- little brother Manning.
