NC State -17 against Wake Forest

OK, let's get the week started early. Four of Wake's five losses are by 17 or more. Last week they lost to a team comparable to NCST (Syracuse) by 17 at home. This is on the road against a QB looking for a signature game on national TV for pro scouts. Did I mention that Wake has the 115th ranked pass D?

Now Wake can score, which scares me on the back end. However, Wake is averaging 21 points in its losses. Also Wakes strength (24th rushing O) plays right into NCST defensive strength (7th ranked). Like I said, it does give some pause with NCST hving the 129th passing d with this big of a line, but I think NCST will be playing in the 50s on this one.

That was one big shit the bed performance by an aspiring NFL QB. The final numbers look good. The final numbers lie. Finley missed open receivers all night. I thought NCST D played better than expected but that O looked horrible against a bad WF D. This is one that really just pisses me off because Wake was all ready to roll over and play dead for them in the first three q.
