It seems the "Beto" effect had no impact at all

I kept hearing from all the local stations how Beto O'Rourke was getting so many Democrats to vote that it was going to have a huge impact on all the other candidates running for office and how there would be more Democrats being elected. It appears the state was dominated by Republicans so perhaps the thinking was a bit off. It seems it rallied even more Republicans to the polls.

But watch out next door...

25 years from now will Texas even be a state?

The new liberal line...Beto lost so that frees him up to run for President. Add him to the Democratic line-up of clowns and misfits who want to run for President.

This guy has a criminal record for DWI (and leaving the scene of the accident) and burglary, but he's a fucking Democrat, so the DemoScum vote for him anyway.

So many fucking stupid people.

Yes, so many stupid people. Meanwhile, three republicans elected yesterday who are under indictment for felonies.

So an "indictment", not an arrest. Do you understand what an indictment is and how easy it is to get one?

I did have to laugh throughout this election as I kept getting texts from different Democratic candidates (wasn't bothered by a single Republican candidate). I would reply back that I was "on the fence" on who I was voting for, but if I got one more text from them, I would make sure I voted for the opposition. Problem solved.

I have to admit. It's actually a lot of fun for the first time in my life to feel like my vote counted for something and to actually see the people I voted for "win" an election.
