I have a NFL Vegas season wins question I need help with ?

I was listening to the radio while making deliveries and the question was brought up about season win totals in Vegas and the Browns were brought up.Since they have a tie this year how does that work on if you have 5.5 wins on the Browns win 5 does the tie count as a half or do you lose your bet ? They were not sure and figured somebody might know the answer to this.Thanks in advance for your help

5= loss ... you are betting on how many wins they have. they have 5

That would be my guess as well but they were harping on the tie counting that as a half a win.

this isn't a contest where a push would be a half a point

they need Wins to add to the total

Your bet is total wins. Ties are equal to losses regarding your bet.

I think it depends on the book you placed the bet at. Some count ties as a .5 win and others its a push. I don't think all the places have the same rules.

never heard of a tie counting as half a win

Westgate doesnt count a tie at all... its strictly WINS (ties and losses arent wins)

I'm large on the Browns under 5.5 wins at Boyd casinos and the tie is not a half a win, it's tantamount to a loss.

These win totals are really geared to playing unders, yet most people play overs. Between losing your QB and the higher chance of a tie, its almost under or pass.
