Jamaica Classic at Montego Bay (Round-Robin)

Central Connecticut State Blue Devils +3.5 (10 Units)

Not a popular pick I'm sure in the Round-Robin action of this tournament but look at Central Connecticut's betting record this season. They are 3-0 ATS so far on the year with a huge home win against UMass their last time out (as a -5 point favorite) and they also gave Georgetown a big time run for their money last week as an 18 point underdog which came after a straight up win at Hartford as a 12.5 point underdog. So they've covered lines of +12.5, +18 and -5 this season. Austin Peay is coming off an overtime loss at South Florida and that was off the heels of a blowout loss at Mississippi State. The Governors are shooting only 36% from the floor in their three games this season compared to Central Connecticut State shooting a whopping 49.4% from the field and hitting 46.4% of their three point shots in the process. The rebounding is pretty much the same so far this season with a slight edge to Austin Peay. I'm not sure how these two schools do off overseas travel but we're about to find out. CCST's record on neutral sites is not a good one and AP have always been good on neutral sites but Austin Peay is 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Friday games and Central Connecticut have played extremely well coming out of the gates. I don't see that changing even with the game being played in Jamaica.

Trend of the Game: Austin Peay is 1-4 ATS in their last five non-conference games.

Central Connecticut State 75, Austin Peay 71

Paradise Jam - 1st Round

Pennsylvania Quakers -2 (10 Units)

This is not a one and done in the opening round of the 8 Team Paradise Jam in the US Virgin Islands but if you lose you are no longer in contention to win the tournament and it's consolation games from here on in. Penn is off to a great 3-0 SU and 3-0 ATS start to their season as they went on the road and beat George Mason in the opener as a +4.5 point underdog. They then beat Rice (by 16 points as a -13 point home favorite) and Lafayette (by 30 as a -12.5 point favorite) at home before flying to this tournament. Northern Iowa is off to a rough start having played only one lined game this season and losing straight up at Texas-Arlington as a -6 point road favorite. Penn is shooting the lights out so far in their three games having made 54.3% of their attempts from the field and hitting 41.2% of their three point shots. Northern Iowa on the other hand is shooting only 39.3% from the field in their two games and making only 13.6% of their shots from beyond the arc. Penn comes into this game 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall dating back to last season and they face a Northern Iowa team that has dropped four straight spreads versus non-conference opponents. NIU is also 7-20-2 ATS in their last 29 games coming off a straight up loss the game before. I think Penn continues to roll.

Trend of the Game: Penn is 6-1 ATS in their last seven games dating back to last season.

Pennsylvania 69, Northern Iowa 62
