2018 MistaFlava's CFB Record: 40-31 ATS (+173.50 Units)

Been a rough few weeks for me but luckily I've hit all my big plays this season and I'm up pretty big in college football heading down the stretch. I'll be posting writeups a bit later today but will post a few early plays for now.

Good luck to everyone

Wisconsin Badgers +3.5 (10 Units)

This is the place to back the Badgers. I know the Badgers are a mess betting wise and have covered the spread in only 1 of their last 6 games and only twice this season but they have always played well at Purdue. I don't have the full history but they have won at least 10 straight versus the Boilermakers dating back to 2006. So far this season Wisconsin has lost road games at Northwestern, Michigan and Penn State but they did beat Iowa on the road and they are still 6-4 SU on the season. Wisconsin is 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games played in November and this is typically when they start playing good football. The Badgers are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 road games overall dating back to the last few season and they are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games after accumulating 275 or less yards (vs Penn State) in their previous game.

The Purdue Boilermakers have been once of the biggest "Jekyll & Hyde" teams in college football this season. They have home wins over Boston College, Ohio State and Iowa but again go back and look at their record against Wisconsin in the past. It's a mess. The Boilermakers opened the season with home losses to Missouri and Eastern Michigan and they come into this game needing one more win to become Bowl Eligible. This is not the game to make it happen. Purdue is coming off a horrendous 41-10 road loss at Minnesota and I just don't see them bouncing back from that. Purdue is 0-7 ATS in their last seven games when hosting Wisconsin and they are 2-10 ATS in the last 12 meetings between the two schools. The ROAD TEAM comes into this game having covered four straight.

Trend of the Game: Wisconsin is 10-2 ATS in their last 12 meetings with Purdue and 7-0 ATS in their last seven games at Purdue.

Wisconsin 19, Purdue 17

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets -6 (10 Units)

Virginia is playing some good football is what most people are saying and thinking but look at their last game versus FCS Liberty. Sure they beat them 45-24 but they failed to cover the -24 home favorite line in the game and they managed to outyard the much inferior FCS side by only 35 total yards. This was coming off a 10 point home loss to the Pitt Panthers the week before where they were outyarded by 66 total yards and looked absolutely awful. Virginia is always bad at this time of the year and there is a reason they are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games played in November. They are also only 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games coming off a win of 20+ points their previous game. As good as the Cavaliers have been in 2018 and as much as they have been bettable, November is the time to fade them and they're last two games are a good indication of this.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are a good football team and yet they have one less win than the Cavaliers on the season. The Yellow Jackets have won three straight games and 5 of their last six games. Their only loss was against Duke 28-14 at home but even in that game they outyarded the Blue Devils by 50 total yards. They are coming off wins at Virginia Tech, North Carolina and then at home versus Miami. Pretty impressive stuff. The Jackets have outyarded every single opponent they have played in 2018 with the exception of the Clemson Tigers. Georgia Tech is 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 games coming off a straight up win and they are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. Looking back at the history of these two schools, the HOME TEAM is 18-4-1 ATS in the last 23 meetings and Georgia Tech is 4-0 ATS in their last four games hosting the Cavaliers. I am going with the Jackets and their running game to win this one big.

Trend of the Game: The HOME TEAM is 18-4-1 ATS in the last 23 meetings between these schools.

Georgia Tech 42, Virginia 16
