Yes but Wash St. lost to USC and the Pac 12 is garbage. Wash St. is good but the committee not gonna let it happen if the top 4 win out

They still have to beat UW and potential pac 12 title game before playoff talk has any merit at all. They have had a great season but az is awful so take tonight with a grain of salt.

Big Ten winner gets in imo. Washington St would lose by 2 TDs minimum vs any of those top 4. Love me some Mike Leach though. I guarantee he parties like Charlie Sheen.

The Armageddon scenario is the one most likely to turn the college football world upside down. If that happens, then who knows what would be next.

But assuming the top 4 continue to win, then they will be the 4 in the playoff.

Washington State shot themselves in the foot by losing to USC with extremely weak out of conference schedule. Part of making to it to BCS bowl game is strength of schedule. Michigan and Ohio State had stronger out of conference schedule with the same record as Washington State. As for which conference is better between Big Ten and PAC-10 this year is hard to prove. I really do not think Ohio State has a chance to beat Michigan this year even if Michigan defensive player Chase Winovich not playing. The top 4 can change with an unexpected lose still.

put ucf in. 4 undefeated teams, 4 playoff spots. at this point let ucf get bama. it wont happen for $ reasons but at some point i think they deserve their chance. ohio state has no business being there even if they beat michigan. this thing is all about $, little guy deserves their shot though.

If Mich beats Ohio St, you leave out the Big 10. Big ten people were so adamant about the SEC shouldn't get two teams in a couple of times now because they already played each other and lost, well Mich and ND already played each other. So eat your own words.

Isn't wash st only loss this year because of a bs booth review that was made by someone calling in to the replay officials telling them which way it should go...

So what happens if:

Georgia wins out
Bama beats Auburn
Clemson wins out
ND beats USC
Michigan wins out.

Which 1 of those 5 gets snubbed?

I am hoping that this actually happens so maybe they'll move the playoffs to 8 teams.

Cant we make an argument for UCF and Wash State?

I like Wash St and Leach but Pac 12 is weak, last year in bowls they were terrible SU and ATS. This has been the reality for quite some time.
If GA wins out, Michigan gets snubbed: Bama, GA, Clemson, ND. BUT IMO Bama will pummel GA.
UCF would lose to Bama by 40, ND & Clemson by 30, etc. They caught a disappointed, disinterested partying Auburn team last year in the bowl game (that being said, if they play, say, Georgia this year I will take UCF knowing Georgia is coming off a SEC Championship loss...)
If Michigan beats OSU and then NW they should get in, having only lost in a close game to ND.
The exciting crazy team to get in is Oklahoma, with 3-4 weeks to rest their D could be a bit more effective and their O is unstoppable.
We shall see.
