Michigan -4 VS Ohio State
Ive been waiting for this day to come. The Buckeyes were my best play when they were dogs to Alabama a few years back. We know what happened in that game.
Todays Buckeyes are not even as good as any Buckeye teams of the last four years. And even though they own Michigan, this week they will have to turnover the keys to the Ferrari - because the long joy ride is over on Saturday at NOON!
Michgan is exactly where they need to be, as the best defensive team in college this year. Make no mistake - I don't like Michigan as a lifetime Ohioan - but you have to call it as you see it - and the Buckeyes and all the distractions have diluted the teams performance all season.
They dominated no one except weaklings Oregon State and In-a-rut, Rutgers! All other opponents hung around and the Buckeyes never covered one point spread against a winning team except 6-5 Michigan State.
Ohio state and Michigan both played MSU and won the games by similar scores. Michigan holding MSU to 7 points and the Buckeyes holding MSU to 6 points. In those two games Mich was favored by 7, and Ohio State was favored by 3. that how you get the point spread for this game at Mich -4. That line is a public perception line IMO, as the true line should more like 8-9 or more.
In the opening game on the year, Michigan lost to Notre Dame narrowly. Notre Dame, is in fact, the most under rated team in the top ten standings and I mentioned that In my play on them against Syracuse.
The Buckeyes are so bad on defense, that they have allowed over 26 points per game or more, to winning teams all year.! NONE of those teams had a defense and thats the only reason that the Buckeyes won those games.
Michigan has a great defense and will shut down the Buckeys and control the game defensively.
The Wolverines haven't allowed any team all year over 21 points except Notre Dame which scored 24 at home. In addition, they only allowed 21 to Maryland and that's when Maryland was still whole on offense. Ohio State just gave up 51 points to the Terps and almost lost except for some penalties my MD very late in the game.
5Dimes has the line right now at Michigan -4 . Ive already made that play and if it goes up or down it won't matter because I feel The Wolverines will win the bet regardless of line movement.
