I find this to be the major concern in the NBA over players resting on competitive teams.

Are we seriously going to watch the Cavs now purposely compete for the worst record in the NBA for the next 5 years like we watched with Philly?

i can honestly say i havnt watched an nba game in a few years. tried the finals, couldnt sit through it. nba talk on sports shows is king but its rarely about the game itself. its where is the person going in free agency and did one person pass the other in some insignificant category like most clutch in the nba. the best part of the nba season is the offseason, the nba season itself is unwatchable to me.

in terms of tanking, its a strategic move which they are gonna have to find some solution. they should do something like english premier league soccer where you get relegated. i know its impossible but that at least helps protect the competition itself.

dallas mavs is on that path now,, full steaming pile of sht ahead,,, lol,,,

dont forget cuban said he was gonna do this 2 years ago and got fined for it,, now hes doing it,,, aaaaaannnddd????

the nba can only expand so much, they saw the silver lining of high scoring games=Ratings,,, the only way to make the game more interesting, is to encourage defense,, and thats not gonna happen,, Allowing top teams with top skilled athletes free will to impose on their victims,,, lol,, not much you can do unless you reward a tighter slower game,,

anyway,, nba has gone completely off the rails,, unwatchable, unlikable,, name 2 guys that are likeable??

the reason why michael jordan was sucha phenom(and the nba) is because he was likeable, and many in the league were too,

sadly,, in todays world you gotta hate whitey, you gotta be hard,, you gotta not be kind(cause thats weak) really too bad,

sorry for the rant,, lol,, but i really useed to love the nba,,, hurts how its fallen apart with division
