NFL Concussions

It would seem to me that the NFL has this problem somewhat under control.

You don't see as many guys getting knocked out on the field...rule change ...(maybe a good one) Honestly seeing guys get lit up and knocked out was getting a bit unbearable.

& Taking the player off the field to check him out maybe saving existing problems from compounding during a game.

Thoughts?

Not sure the rule changes prevent many concussions, they do prevent QB's from getting tackled, but recognizing concussions or potential concussions has improved significantly

Cmon , they TRIED to fight the data and lost . Got Killed actually . Fuxkin acutuaries told them statiscally
they r toast

they are doing the right thing, cause they HAD to

Concussion theory/ evidence is spreading like wild fire . In Canada , contact hockey is allowed at age 12 (and above ) , at the AAA Level , we have followed similar policy from Scandinavia hockey boards and the US

paranoia? If it's ur kid , u want him back on the ice when his head is still spinning ? Give him an Advil and get back out there?

The NFL is trying to make the game of football, which they've ruined, watchable.
The only way they can do it is with points.

20% of players want to play the game the other 80% just want to just get paid.

The targetting Penalties were instilled over a year ago and you see way less guys launch themselves with an intent to injury...leading with their helmets.

Great hits still exist form tackling usually leads to both players getting up off the turf.

I was getting tired of seeing guys lying on the turf with their hand up in the AIR unconscious

Fantasy football, gambling, chicks who dig TD's and guys who love their QB scoring a bunch of fantasy points and actually get off on that

And if you're just comparing 2017 to 2018, well then it's the diminishing anthem protests

They have the ability to do so Willie, they just are still dodging the issue. Check out this company. I worked with them for awhile and it is 100% full proof to detect concussion, severity and recovery. www.evokeneuroscience.com

Pretty cool, is there a reason why everyone is not using this? Is it too costly?

Gas this is cool good post.

These supports my theory if the player is already a bit groggy form an earlier hit he could get really hurt if he keeps playing. Now a days they haul you off the field.
