Strength against strength probably won't decide this ballgame. Ole Miss' offense (#5 nationally)
against Mississippi State's defense (#6 nationally) should be fun to watch. The hold card is when
we go riverside with the Bulldogs offense going against the Reb's defense. Ole Miss has the weakest
defense in the SEC (embarrassment to a league that prides itself on defense) and one of the worst
in the nation in big boy football (121st). The Rebels do have a good passing attack but will be going
up against a Bulldog pass defense that is the best in the SEC and ranked 8th nationally. If Miss St.
shuts down Ole Miss' running game, it will be a long day for QB Jordan Ta'amu trying to throw the
ball.
Mississippi State -11 (made bet Tuesday night) is my play. The line now is anywhere from 12-13.5
depending on your book. I have this a 17 point game so wouldn't have any problem with the current
lines.
My take and welcome yours...…………..........Happy turkey day CFB RXers!
