I'm not familiar with all the major places that are available today. But I've noticed that among the ones I have used, only Intertops does not offer horse racing on a regular basis. Just on the major racing headline days. Does anyone know why this is? I'm thinking caution is the reason.

Old guy that works a couple days a week for me is a retired Cop. He also used to gamble like crazy when he was on the force

Tells a story of how he set his bookmakers clock back a couple minutes. Then he would have somebody at the track call him the second a race ended and he would then place his bet for what the bookmaker thought was just a minute or two before post.

The was 40+ years ago but still what a terrible bookie

bookmakers are wary of horse racing because knowledgeable can get huge overlays and
make huge scores, think captain squire. good bookmakers love the small recreational
player and are happy to take his action. but they fear the sharps and either limit
them or boot them. most offshore books do not co-mingle their bets into the regular
parimutuel pool which means a few things. ones bet does NOT affect the payoff,
the bookmaker has liability (unlike an ADW which does comingle), and the bookie
does not offer every type of wager available at the track. one advantage of a good
ADW is the rebates offered. mine, which is 100% legal, offers 2-15% back on every
bet depending upon the type of bet and the track involved.

My 3 outs, that don't comingle, have different limits for different tracks.

The most I can cash per race on a major track is 20k
The least, on harness, can be as little as 1k per race.
All offer a 5-6% rebate.
