Professional "celebration stoppers" in sports? Happened in the Ortiz-Liddel fight. Hilarious.

Hats off to Chuck, though. Guy is almost 50. Tito looks like he could compete against some of the Top 10 guys right now. Wouldn't mind seeing jumping into to some fights at Bellator...

I wouldn't mind seeing Ortiz fight anybody in UFC at 205. Whether he wins or gets smashed, it would be entertaining to me. The 205's in the UFC almost seems like it is empty. At least Ortiz is in shape. Watching Rampage fight in Bellator.... he looks like a colossal whale that you'd see at a YMCA.

Tito is 44-years-old. A. Silva will be 44 at the time he fights Last Stylebender in Melbourne. The UFC can't keep giving these old washed up stars to the young up-and-coming fighters.

Well, it's all about the name and entertainment. Everybody has their opinion. For the moment I still find Tito entertaining.

I'd like to see Moussasi vs. Tito.

You honestly think Tito should fight in the UFC because he's entertaining?

That's not how the UFC works and BTW, Moussasi would shit on Tito Ortiz.

Lol, did you just say that's not how the UFC works?

Moose is one of the best fighters in the world at his weight. But he couldn't see the light of day b/c of metrics and entertainment value. McGregor jumps into title fights and bypasses everybody b/c he is "entertaining" and drives dollars.

The UFC and these outfits are not about who the best fighters are. If you can promote (and win), then you advance.

You're comparing Moussasi being in the UFC and McGregor fighting for a title to a 44-year-old washed up Tito Ortiz coming in and fighting a fight in the UFC at 205? Like those things are comparable in any way shape or form.

I was actually pretty interested in this fight just because these 2 fighters I grew up watching. While I didn't expect it to be a great fight, I didn't think I would watch it and think I could beat Chuck if I were in the ring.

I agree with Run...sort of. Tito is a draw and put him against anyone and he will draw big numbers. But do NOT put him against Moussasi, he might die. But a guy just outside the top 15? Sure why not!
