College Football Bowl games-Tough!

I could be 100% wrong, but am thinking that square bettors (of which I'm probably at least 75% square), take a beating in the bowls overall. Not talking the final 4 where the games really mean something, but other than those games am thinking the books make a higher profit % than on the regular season games... For years, I never seem to learn which games are just basically exhibitions and which games seem to be all out effort. Does anyone have any handicapping angels for the bowls in general?

problem is the fact that the games are on neutral fields. everyone has been used to handicapping home and road. northern teams that go to warm weather bowls treated it more like a vacation.

Last season someone said look at massey ratings and take the team with the better def. in the early games like the 1st 15 it hit very well....don't remember who posted that but hopefully someone posts the w/l % for the whole bowl season.....

I think the line reflects there is or isn't a home team. The problem may be which teams are truly "northern" and going south, which can be both teams on the borderline of north or south. Lots of action for sure.

Yeah, you have a point however, most bowls are located where one team has a distinct traveling advantage so they can sell tickets.
