Rice, Mixon. Elliott, Faulk... why all the RBs?
They are still immature kids. They have a lot of money and think they have world by the balls. It was bad what he did but there is much more to the story than what is shown on the video.... we may never know the entire story. But, no one has the right to attack someone like that no matter how justified they think they are. This will probably kill my fantasy team for the year (got lucky enough to pick up Ware exactly when waivers opened tonight). But, you have to admire KC for cutting him that fast. Maybe the NFL and NFL teams are starting to get smart with this activity.

BTW, it's not always RB's... it's with many positions - the defensive guy WAS just picked up, Winston feeling up the uber driver and there are so many crazy WR's it's almost impossible to keep track of them.

I was meaning mentally...

OK...

This happened in February. NFL and/or the Chiefs tried to cover it up, probably.

This is the tip of the iceberg. These things are covered up and settled all the time. It’s a new world and getting more difficult to hide.

Fact: Marshall Faulk had multiple, numerous violent incidents against women in the 90’s. Those days there wasn’t nearly the reaction. No mass social media. No MeToo.

I don't want to guess or assume the NFL and KC tried to cover it up... according to the story the police refused to release the video... somehow TMZ got the video. KC reported they investigated earlier this year and could only go on what they were told by Hunt. They got to see the video when it everyone else saw it after the TMZ release and determined Hunt lied to them. They pretty much released him within hours... doesn't sound like a cover up by KC. But what the hell do I know. They may have known everything from day one and since no one on either side wanted to bring charges KC may have just hoped the issue was over.

I am not supporting Hunt or trying to make it sound like he is a sweet heart but if you watch the tape the woman had quite a few opportunities to just walk away and leave. I think both enflamed everything that happened but as I said before Hunt still had no right to touch her. I am just saying there may be more to a situation than what the eye sees. If it was cut and dried that the woman was totally innocent and not adding to the incident why didn't she bring charges back then? This is not exactly like the Rice situation where they walked into the elevator and he knocked her out cold and dragged her back in the elevator.

I never knew about the Faulk incidents you mentioned... thought he was a pretty decent guy. But we really never know do we?

The video wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Probably a late night out and he lost it on a loud mouth bitch. If you've gone out in your 18-25 years you've seen this play out before.

Yeah it wasn't that bad - but bad enough that other teams won't take him. From what I saw she was mouthing off to him and he shoved her pretty hard, then shoved whoever was trying to break it up. She had every right to throw a punch back even if she was mouthing off previously. When someone puts their hands on me that's when it crosses the line. She's allowed to defend herself if he starts to shove her (I wouldn't advise it, but she did it anyways). Alcohol definitely involved, always is. Words are one thing but you shouldn't be putting your hands on a woman. The punch she did throw was barely a punch, looked almost like a slap.

Good riddance. There's too much of this shit going on in the NFL so they will make sure and make another example out of him just like they did Ray Rice. As a college or professional athlete you know there's zero tolerance these days for getting into any altercation, let alone putting your hands on a woman that you massively outweigh. He should have known to just walk away but he didn't and it cost him his career.

Sucks for Chiefs fans because he was a huge asset.

In todays society where everyone can't wait to crucify someone or something you
need to be cautious of every situation you encounter. Stupid is as stupid does.

Having said that there were no arrests made, no charges filed and no injuries.

I haven't watched the video nor do I plan to. I simply don't care enough.

KC made their decision and that's that. Maybe the Redskins will claim him
and add him to the "your a good player and you may or may not play for us," wink
wink, like they did with Reuben Foster.

Hunt fucked up. He should have just murdered her then he could have pleaded to a
misdemeanor charge of obstruction of justice, played for another 16 years and got
inducted in the Hall of Fame.

The NFL placed him on the exempt list right away.
If either the NFL or the Chiefs new about this in February, then why not investigate it then,as the NFL isn't playing around.
You can't claim someone who has been released while on the exempt list
Lying to them is pretty lame for the Chiefs releasing him,as if the(Chiefs)claim they didn''t see any video of it, then they must have been satisfied from what the police said.
We don't know even what sparked this incident, but there's no way you should even hit a woman let alone kick her while on the ground.
From the video i seen,i didn't think it was that bad as someone else said.
Hunt will never play for the Chiefs again for sure, but when all decided you just may see him on the field next season.
So,there is definatly more coming on this story, and i'm sure it will come out quickly.
I do think the Chiefs acted a bit quick on this,as i would assume they would just suspend him til it all clears, and then make a decision.
