P.F. Chang’s will inaugurate its second restaurant in Costa Rica next December 4, the restaurant will be located at the recently opened Oxígeno Human Playground in Heredia.
With a total investment of close to $2.5 million, this will be the fourth restaurant the Asian fusion restaurant brand opens in Central America.
This second restaurant is smaller than the original locale in Avenida Escazú where they began operations in 2014; this new location, however, offers a room for private events for groups of up to 35 people and an open kitchen for clients to witness some of the abilities of the chefs with the woks.

This restaurant also opened a space in the Kidzania zone of Oxígeno Human Playground, where kids can experience what it is like to work at a restaurant like P.F. Chang’s
“The brand bet on this new concept of education and entertainment for children, allowing the growth of the bran in new markets and establishing P.F. Chang’s as a leader in this new world for children”, states the press release sent out by the franchise.
P.F. Chang’s offers more than 60 Asian fusion dishes, mostly Chinese but with Thai, Mongolian, Korean and Japanese alternatives. Following the Asian traditions most dishes are meant to be shared.
P.F. Chang’s opened its doors to the world in Arizona, USA in 1993 by Phillip Chiang and Paul Fleming, it currently has more than 255 restaurants around the world.
