Good question.

I think the legality has to be settled first, then they can make a move. Probably years away.

But even if it's legal... in some states what do you get? Some vanilla website with 10 games a week? I have yet to see a legal state where you have a website and bet on games on your phone. So fuck, might as well not even be legal. What was the point?

Illegals have more rights than a regular parlay or teaser. Injustice!

Him or me?

I think he's just looking for a legal book.... and then once legal, the best book in the business. That's pinny.

What I think will happen is we'll get shit books like Euro books. If you win over 2,000, then they'll limit or ban you. So then what's the point?

Was talking to him.

I understand Pinny is at the top...but feel like you can still get down close to Pinny's numbers, with a combo of top books available to US players today.

Had two open future wagers with Pinny when they shut us down. Later in the year, I won both future wagers and Pinny paid them off. Class act.

The way I understand it, the biggest reason for Pinny pulling out was the banking part. Sportsbetting is legal, but not the offshore banking aspect. Pinny would have to do like William Hill if they want in the US. I'd like to see them buy out Canter.

I remember pulling up to a college library in my hometown...to study for a test for a grad school test during a holiday break...getting the news that pinny was leaving...and then sweating my nuts about cash there and not studying...but then ultimately getting the cash back. have checked pinny lines every time I've bet over the last 10ish years since then.

Don't think state governments legalized gambling so that bettors could get -105. You're roughly cutting the revenue to the government in half with a reduced juice book, so probably not gonna happen unless forced to.

betfair yes already in NJ and they own TVG as well. Pinny no chance - their model would not work with all the hands in the "cookie jar" ie-feds and taxes

Its really sad that this is applauded. Isn't this just simply what's supposed to happen?

Pinnacle would have to affiliate themselves with a NJ casino or racetrack. Same goes in Pennsylvania. I don't know the law in other states. What I would like to see are independent sportsbooks devoid of affiliations with casinos.

If you really want a penny account, it isn't that hard to go through a broker to get one.
