I don't think Chiefs will lose SU, the spread is a different animal. Although Ravens have the #1 scoring defense, & Chiefs the #1 scoring offense.....should be a great game......if we had the old rules that favored the defense, I would say Ravens have a great shot to win, but its an offensive league now, either way, should be a close game.

I am a ravens fan. I love seeing other people’s opinions. I think our defense can keep it close. Lamar Jackson has to have a good passing game to beat them. This will be the toughest defense that KC has faced. I am just hoping we can slow down their pass!!!

I took the Ravens +7. The Ravens D is playing “lights out” right now. Lamar Jackson may not be a great passer (yet), but his legs make it difficult to get the Ravens offense off the field. Also, it seems like the team has embraced their exciting, young, QB. It’s been stated all season that the Chiefs defense is not much more than adequate. They’ve been in many high scoring games this season. In addition, let’s face it— there is a drop off from Kareem Hunt to Spencer Ware. The Chiefs had very few actual rushing yards from the RB position in their first game without Hunt. Mahomes was really their only running threat. So too, you have the Ravens in a tight battle for a playoff spot. They know there is little margin for error, so you can expect to get their best effort.

Its interesting to Note that Baltimore's Defense struggles in Division but out of division they are a top 3 d.

Waiting for injury and weather info but I lean to KC.
Balty lost to the Saints (another top offense) at home. Can they stop KC on the road? I do not think so. Too much firepower, Mahones throwing all over the field, having fun.
Sure, KC is vulnerable to good passing teams but Balty "is not" so IMO they can stop Baltimore enough to cover.
Natural turf, a little wet, takes away the Balty speed rush a bit. Yes, it matters.
Wary that 10-2 KC will be coasting a bit, know they just need to win a few of their 4 last games, not all of 'em. They might have been a bit off last game with the Hunt debacle and only beat Raiders by 7, but perhaps they will regroup and focus after that.
Lean to KC but still early. No way I would go BIG on them unless there are injury issues. Probably small or pass.

i like balt ml
last week against oakland you couldnt really see the loss of hunt as a big factor but against a team like baltimore short yardage plays are more critical. he is such a dynamic player and i dont think they can rely on anyone else to fill that void. baltimore has a solid defense and will be ready for the challenge. in a cold day in kansas city the clear defensive and rushing advantage will be with the ravens. even with the line going down to 6.5 i still like the ravens both with the points and on the ml

Unless Jackson gets hurt I think Flacco has taken his last snap as Ravens qb. Team has a pulse with Lamar. Not sure the players would respond well to switching back to Joe.

Lamar still needs a lot of work in his progression reads and accuracy but he is the future, no reason to go backwards.

Slowing down KC at home will be a tough task for any defense. Shutting Kelce down should be their scheme on defense. Hill is going to get open at some point regardless.

Wait and see if Humphrey is a go for the Ravens. He’s a major key to the Baltimore D. Really the best player on the defense imo.

Agree Humphrey important.

When I first saw this line my immediate reaction was to jump on KC at home at -6.5. Chargers only 1 game back to KC has to keep the pedal to the metal. But looking into it further, Hunt being cut, removes the threat of steady dose of runs. And the weak KC defense (22 nd vs run) having very little film on Jackson, and his burst speed is scary. Add KC has some WR injury woes Hill-groin, Thomas-IR, and Watkins doubtful.

Right now I'm firmly on the fence. If I play it will be Balt.

BOL 2 all!!

Would love to bet Baltimore but if I were KC I would put 9 people in the box and force Lamar to throw... Not sure he can do that at KC.... Should be a good game.

If Flacco plays I'm taking my Ravens on the spread. Good luck if you play.

I’m going to KC as a regular play up from “small”.
Jackson was able to beat some very bad teams but is not an NFL pocket passer. Balty hasn’t beaten anybody and won’t be able to keep up with the Chiefs. Narrative that Balty has a top D is overstated.
KC -6, I might go big on it tomorrow but probably won’t, KC might coast a bit.

I am going big on the Chiefs tomorrow. I think they lay it to baltimore at home. Their defense plays much better at home then on the road and feeds off the crowd. Baltimores D has been feasting on terrible teams lately. KC will get their 30 + points and baltimore wont be able to keep up

Officially, I am passing on this game, sorry.
I guess the main thing is I could not see backing the Ravens since IMO Jackson is not an NFL passer and he was able to run wild against 3 bad defenses but IMO KC can stop him well enough and outscore them, and that Balty has feasted on 3 bad teams recently and APPEARS so good but they "are not".
Again, passing, I decided not to back KC since they might be coasting with the big 10-2 record, no Hunt, and the Chargers on deck.
I already took Indy +4 (big), Carolina E & the Bills - 4.5 in the early games, though.
