I was going thru the nj mgm sportsbook app the other morning around 3am and seen they had the chiefs ml listed at +1500 instead of -1500... I texted a screen shot to my boy at work. He ended up depositing a grand and played it str8 up and parlayed.
None of his parlays hit , but the str8 up bet did. He ended up hitting for $10,000+ When in reality it shoulda been like $60- $70. I kept telling him there’s no way borgatas going to pay that. It kept going further and further thru the confirmation chain till they emailed him last night and told him his money was ready to pick up at the cage. I just got off the phone with him, he just picked it up. Fuckin fleeced em

Scumbag me up ... I wish I’d have thrown down on it. I didn’t even want to tie my money up with it because It would just be voided at some point.
I never in a million years thought it would actually go thru and the borgata would pay it

I was at one of the casinos here one time and there was a line on a college football games that had already finished on the board. My friend emptied his bank account, he only had like 3k, but bet it all and they paid him.

This has happened multiple time already at a few online books in NJ ! Even seen one on the"live" Board at Ocean .........

Probably a computer/programming glitch ;

Every book will/ should pay off on these mistakes .........and will more than likely get every cent back ............Most folks will bet it back in over time .......

They are not stupid!!

NICE CATCH THO

I’ve seen a few lines on the mgm app that were whacked out like that over the last few weeks...
hell if there going to pay them out I’m going to start playing them. That guy that won 80k from FanDuel most have got the ball rolling on that one

The only way to get over on bad lines is to play them online....don’t thin you would get away with this at the counter....

In Vegas the other weekend and Ohio st (playing meeechigan) at Aria flashed to +54.5 as I was placing my bet. My ticket actually printed +54.5 but needed to be validated because of size of wager and they caught it. That line lasted maybe 2-3 minutes.

so you could have gotten away with it if you hadn't been greedy?

I believe he was just making his normal sized wager then it switched to +54.5. He wasn't making the wager thinking he was getting the +54.5. So had nothing to do with greed. Unless im reading his post incorrectly.

Not in my instance, most likely. I had already called out the bet number and wager amount on Ohio St + points, they were going to have to verify my manager anyways. It popped up on screen at +54.5 instead of 4.5 and when the manager came over he laughed and said we will have to wait just a moment for that line to correct itself.
