The top trends in the NFL last week ended up going 1-1. The Patriots handled Minnesota, but the Steelers collapsed in the second half against the Chargers.


This week, the top trends point to teams playing at home in the two prime-time games -- the Bears and Seahawks. Here are the rest of the trends that should help you in betting the NFL on Sunday and Monday.

New England Patriots (-7.5, 47) at Miami Dolphins -- 1 p.m. ET Sunday

  • The home team is 12-1 against the spread (ATS) in the past 13 meetings between these division rivals.
  • Miami is 7-2 ATS in its past nine home games.
  • The under is 5-0 in the Patriots' past five games. The under is 4-0 in the Dolphins' past four games.
Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5, 51.5) -- 1 p.m. ET

  • The Ravens are 0-4 ATS in their past four games against teams with a winning record.
  • The under is 8-1-1 in the Chiefs' past 10 home games.
Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans (-4.5, 50) -- 1 p.m. ET

  • The Colts are 4-0-1 ATS in their past five road games against the Texans.
  • The under is 6-0 in the Colts' past six game against teams with a winning record.
Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers (-5, 50.5) -- 1 p.m. ET

  • The under is 11-1 in the Falcons' 12 games played in November or later since the start of last season.
  • Atlanta is 6-0 ATS in its past six road games against the Packers.
  • The Packers are 1-4 ATS in their five games as a favorite this season.
New Orleans Saints (-8, 55.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- 1 p.m. ET

  • Tampa Bay is 4-0 ATS with three outright wins in its past four games as a home underdog.
  • The under is 4-0 in the Buccaneers' past four home games.
  • The under is 8-2 in the past 10 meetings between these division rivals in Tampa Bay.
New York Jets at Buffalo Bills (-3.5, 38) -- 1 p.m. ET

  • The Jets are 0-5 ATS in their past five games against division opponents.
  • Buffalo is 5-1 ATS in its past six home games against the Jets.
New York Giants (-3.5, 41) at Washington Redskins -- 1 p.m. ET

  • Washington is 4-0 ATS with three outright wins as a home underdog this season.
  • The under is 11-3 in the past 14 meetings between these division rivals, including 4-0 in the past four meetings.
Carolina Panthers (-1.5, 47.5) at Cleveland Browns -- 1 p.m. ET

  • The Panthers are 1-5 ATS in their six road games this season.
  • The over is 14-4 in the Browns' past 18 home games played in Cleveland.
Denver Broncos (-4, 45.5) at San Francisco 49ers -- 4:05 p.m. ET

  • Denver is 4-0 ATS in its past four road games. This comes after a stretch in which the Broncos went 1-11 ATS in their previous 12 road games.
  • The 49ers are 4-13 ATS in their past 17 home games without QB Jimmy Garoppolo.
Cincinnati Bengals at Los Angeles Chargers (-14, 47.5) -- 4:05 p.m. ET

  • Cincinnati is 0-5 ATS in its past five games as a double-digit underdog.
  • The over is 5-1 in the Bengals' past six road games.
Detroit Lions (-3, 40.5) at Arizona Cardinals -- 4:25 p.m. ET

  • The Lions are 7-1-1 ATS in their past nine games against teams with a losing record.
Pittsburgh Steelers (-10, 51.5) at Oakland Raiders -- 4:25 p.m. ET

  • Pittsburgh is 6-1 ATS in its past seven games following a loss.
  • The under is 22-5-1 in the Steelers' past 28 road games.
Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (-3.5, 44) -- 4:25 p.m. ET


  • Philadelphia is 8-3 ATS with seven outright wins in its past 11 games as an underdog.
  • The road team is 11-3 ATS in the past 14 meetings between these division rivals.
Los Angeles Rams (-3, 51.5) at Chicago Bears -- 8:20 p.m. ET

  • Chicago is 10-3-1 ATS in its past 14 home games. Chicago is 4-1-1 ATS as a home underdog during this span.
  • The Rams are 0-4-1 ATS in their past five games against teams with a winning record.
Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks (-3, 45.5) -- 8:15 p.m. ET Monday

  • The Vikings are 0-7-1 ATS in their past eight games against teams with a winning record.
  • Minnesota is 2-9 ATS in its past 11 Monday Night Football games.

Good stuff, compelling I’m not a big trend capper but this is usefull. Ooops you say Pitt 6-1 following a loss but they’ve just lost 3 in a row all 3 ATS.
