Cowboys outplayed the Eagles so they deserved to win but if you were on the Eagles +3.5, that was a brutal way to lose. Third and 8 off a deflection for a TD. Otherwise they kick the FG. Garrett also with a ballsy 4th and 1 call when he's in FG range.

Yes but there were brutal calls by the refs, both ways, that affected the whole thing and made it go to OT.
The refs are a joke, mostly pass interference, holding (OL). That offensive PI in the Eagles TE, wtf? They called Ellitot for helmet infraction, he was falling forward for more yardage. Eagles down by 7, late in the game, they called a roughing the passer on Wentz, grabbed his leg to tackle him, not excessive, just to get him down, since it was below the waist... instead of 3rd and 20 it was first down + 15 yards.
EVERYBODY I know that is a fan, whether they wager or not, thinks the NFL is a joke with the refs... what is pass interference? Holding by an OL? Every ref has a different interpretation. The Miami/NE game, offensive holding was pretty much not called, what an "over"!
Players have learned how to cheat... pass in the air a quick, short, pop of the arm by the receiver to the DB, just a little, for separation. Or stop on a dime and have the DB crash into you for pass interference. 50 yard PI calls are a joke, should be 15 max, though I realize there are issues with that, at least it cannot destroy an entire game outcome.
A joke, the games outcome very often hinges on bad judgement calls.

Agree with all of those points. Valid points. But to lose on a touchdown that started with winning the coin toss, then a 4th and 1 call on the opponents 20 yard line and ended with a deflected pass turned TD, pretty brutal.

Yeah, then the XP at the end would have been to take the lead. Ironic part in that is if he misses the XP at the end of the game, then they cover.

Yes I agree, I had the Boys - 3.5, was surprised but not shocked they went for it on 4th... their kicker has been very inconsistent. Then the deflected pass TD.
But the whole game was marred by penalties, penalties, penalties, some (sure) were legit, but many were a joke.

Maher missed a 43 yard and hit a 62 yard. He's not a slouch and has won a couple games for them this year

Just a bit bizarre to witness Garrett go from ultra-conservative on 4th down (which cost him 1-2 wins early in the season) to Riverboat Ron these past few weeks

Being a diehard dallas fan I was ducking SHOCKED Garrett went for it. Def coaching for his job and finally getting some balls

Garrett couldn’t figure out he should attack the backup to backups Eagles DBs, deep.

Finally when he had to, late, it worked.
