“No call for a job, no call for a tryout, no calls period – nothing” said Kaepernick.
Is anyone surprised?
He might have had a job at Balt if it weren't for his GF. Maybe he should dump her.

Personally was never CK fan but he made his own bed. He had an offer, he turned it down. Do I think the NFL is colluding? yeah, I think so. Can anyone prove it? Good Luck. As much as I don't like him and he absolutely sucked in his latter 49er days, he's better than a Matt Cassel, Josh McCown and a few others. However, no NFL team wants to bring him on, he's a media nightmare. Colin's problem is that he wanted to spend more time on making political statements than his football play.

He's getting paid by Nike which is the reason I don't buy anything from Nike any longer.

at this point the issue should be dead because both the nfl and kaepernick arent interested. he was looked at by teams as a backup option but they questioned his desire to play football. ultimately its better for his "brand" if he continues to be held out so people could argue what could have been and he can make money. he only hurts himself and pisses nfl fans off if he comes back and plays 4 games for the jaguars and sucks. he wants more than he will ever be offered. some want to play at all costs and would jump at the chance to play 1 more game, kaepernick wants to walk into the perfect situation which will never exist for someone who has been away as long as he has. this issue is dead, he will never compete for a starting job which is likely all he would ever consider.

Kaepernick doesn’t want to play football! He would lose his appeal to his supporters if he took a job. The NFL doesn’t want him and he doesn’t want the NFL so why does everyone see this as a one sided thing?

No team will sign him unless he promises NOT to protest the anthem. Don't think he'll agree to that (all speculation on my part)
