NBA is going through the same transition as baseball did many years ago re: starting pitchers. In the MLB, you now hope to get 5-6 innings, in the NBA, the new norm is that the stars sit out about once every five games depending on the opponent. How would you like to be a fan that shows up for the only time a non-conference team shows up in your city and the star(s) does not play. Thanks Greg Popovich who, at least, was trying to save his elderly players.
