I'm trying to understand this. I'm in Vegas for the week. Earlier (Tues afternoon) I'm at Southpoint and put in a decent sized 2 team parlay for someone else. Blazers +7 and Raptors -3-1/2. I end up later at the RIO (Caesars property) and watch the game. Blazers are down nine (111-102) and score a two point bucket with 24 seconds left. They let Houston dribble out the clock without fouling. Final score 111-104.
The TV in the sportsbook has the some postgame stuff and as they got to break, the TV screen displays 111-103. In the Rio, they grade the game on 111-104. Meanwhile, scoreboards online are showing conflicting information. Drive up to Southpoint after the Raptors roll and they have graded on 111-103. The ticket is deemed worthless.
The discrepancy seems to revolve around the first of 2 FTs from CJ McCollum with 1:08 left in the game. I watched the game. He made the first and missed the 2nd. Some sites and scoreboards have him missing both. That is incorrect. ESPN.com has McCollum scoring 23 points and going 3 of 4 from the line and making the FT. CBSsportsline has him scoring 22 points and going 2 of 4 from the line and missing the FT.
I've never seen anything like this. Haven't spoken with the person I bought the ticket for.
