Why?

Why not chip away at the 15 yards. 3 prayers into the back of the end zone?

Not a lot of time and no time outs. I guess they could've tried some out routes or corner routes and get closer but really not a lot of time and if they got tackled in bounds that's even worse.

Anyway you look at it they were in a tough situation.

Steelers D stepped up big today!

Way to go Pittsburgh!

Brady is the goat

But those were some God awful throws at the end

And for the second straight week he cost me a gostkowski fg with bonehead plays in the redzone. Taking the sack last week and throwing the pick today

100% correct in saying they should have chipped at it. Those 3 play calls and execution were not Patriot like at all.

Brady has lost a step or two, throwing scared wrong foot, cutler like.

I said two weeks ago we are starting to the see the decline and got Villified but you are spot on his road play this year has been poor

For some reason Brady was overthrowing everything on that last set of downs. Not like Brady. But I see no evidence of decline. He had no problem bringing them right down the field. The Patriot penalties stifled the Pats. Not Tom Brady. Just a bad sequence at a bad time. Brady has spoiled us. He is and always has been human.

Very impressive performance by the Steelers defense.
It was shocking to me that they didn't give up a TD at the end.

i wish gronk had called it quits last year when he was thinking about it. he just isnt the same player he was. probably will still have some great catches for the patriots in the playoffs and maybe turns back the clock a little somewhere but injuries have really cost him over the years. was so incredible to watch when he was healthy but he is beat up.

I agree with just about every post in this thread, including the OP. They didn't need to throwbthree passes into a crowded end zone

Do you suppose Tomlin and Butler actually put some thought into a
defensive game plan for a change. I mean they actually played man
instead of zone and doubled Grok and Edelman. Tomlin stole a page
from Belichick play book. Take away what the other team does best
which in this case was Brady's security blankets.

Kudos to Tomlin but he's still a mediocre coach.

Lol. Weak trolling...

Steelers D did step up. Did you watch the full game?

The Patriots weren't in a tough situation?

They didn't have minimal time and 0 time outs? They couldn't have tried to chip away with some 7 or 10 yard out routes or corner routes? If they got tackled in bounds it wouldn't have been a disaster for them?

But I know you're just trolling...so it's ok lol. I see what you did there...it's weak and boring. You have to get better at it.

Later foolish!
