The idiots are completely incompetent. They have become the game, they're bigger than the stars. These two late games totally prove that point.

Anyone who thinks this improves the game us a FUCKING IDIOT.

PS: I don't even care about the Seattle game, but I watched them get fucked too

Anyone who had both the 49er's and the Steelers in the late games has to be giddy. Not just because they won both games, although that's reason enough, but because every time you needed to convert on offense or get a stop on defense, you got it. If the players didn't deliver, the flags did. I'm almost at a loss for words on describing what was happening on the field.

Seattle converts, nope, there's a flag. Seattle gets a stop, not so fast amigo, Roger's boys are taking care of business. A lot of people around me wanted the Seahawks, I felt bad for them too.

The NFL is getting very difficult to watch. Outcomes are being manipulated every week.

The Hawks got some help last week versus Minnesota. This week, it's the opposite. They had 14 penalties for 148 yards, SF had 8 for 66. Niners had 5 first downs off of penalties to Seattle's 1. Clearly they wanted San Francisco to win this game. Now watch, the Hawks will get a ton of help next Sunday night against KC.

The Pat's game was decided by calls - most seemed right - all the false stats were false starts - the holds looked like holds but I'm sure every play has a potential hold - game could have been different in a heartbeat

Exactly

A lot of people fail to realize that the NFL classifies itself (and has stated as such legally) as a sports entertainment business, not as just an actual sport, the same as pro wrestling & such. They could legally manipulate many aspects because of it.

Even college football is registered as a collegiate sport, not entertainment.

What about the Chargers/Chiefs game. PI in the end zone gave the Chargers another opportunity to win the game

nothing will change if you keep watching. it's the national flag league....whole thing is a joke from the players who think their social activists to the refs that control the outcome to the prima donnas that would rather sit home and tweet than actually play to the morons that get lose a few years of making millions because they can't stop smoking weed.

clear your sundays...just bet the game and check back later. maybe flip it on a few times to check the score but save yourself the dozen Chevy and Viagra commercials and the defensive penalties that decide every game on Vegas' side

Consistency is all I want. Call it the same for both teams.
And you're right, they have become the game. That's not good.

I think that was a bad call, but a couple of plays earlier they may have made the worst non call of the weekend. A totally obvious helmet to helmet blow the the head of an already down Philip Rivers. It was so wrong on so many levels.

Officials are just fucked in the head, and I blame Roger

And that's why I blame Roger. They change the rules on the fly, create new points of emphasis weekly, and introduced an extreme amount of subjectivity to the game. Subjectivity = inconsistency

The Chiefs/Chargers game did it for me. I called my local bookie and told him when my Saints teasers are cleared out tonight just close my account till baseball. I really feel like I am gambling on something I just don't understand anymore. I am 61 years old and have been an NFL fan my whole life. Haha I am still pissed that they took the most exciting play out of the game years ago when kick offs were made obsolete. BTW I had the Chargers on the money line when I made my decision to pull the plug. The NFL is really that bad.

lot of guys complaining for fouls too. starting to look like the nba with players with their hands up begging for calls. refs have a tough job, the game is fast but i dont know how a team is suppose to play defense anymore.
