Can you imagine if Nick takes Philly to a deep playoff run again....?

As 13.5-point underdogs, it was the second-largest upset of the season behind the Buffalo Bills' 27-6 toppling of the 17-point favorite Minnesota Vikings in Week 3. It was Philly's largest upset win since 1995.

It not only gives Foles an opportunity to make more money -- under his restructured contract, he gets an extra $250,000 for every game in which he plays at least 33 percent of the snaps, and another $250,000 if the Eagles win that game -- but sets up intrigue heading into the offseason.

</article>Foles' contract includes an option for 2019 that both parties would have to be on board with to exercise. The base salary in 2019 is scheduled to be $20 million.

Damn, hard to argue against that. Took them to a ring.. and then just smoked one of the best teams in the league on the road this year...

Good thing his last name isn't Flutie, though, because they'd throw his name on the bench in a heartbeat even though he was a winning machine in big moments.

No clue on this guy, he won against one of the super bowl favorites on the road, last year he wins the super bowl. But the guy had been given chances in the past and hadnt even come close to living up to expectations.

To be fair, since he caught fire last year around this time...He has KILLED IT, Including winning the super bowl of course.

He starts last night and wins on the road vs on the favorites to win it all.

Gotta love what nick has been doing

True, but he has been named the starter before the season has started a few times and has been god awful. I believe he had one season where he threw something like 25 tds to 2 picks(or something like that) but has been no less then awful any other season that he was named the starter before the season.

Just saying I wouldn't be signing this guy to a 20 million dollar a year deal, not under any circumstance.

The offense is the difference. Seems they were running some rpo this game. Look at the offense Philly ran last year compared to this year. They seem to run some more things that are rpo like KC runs this year. Foles may not run much but the way they were faking handoffs and keeping the defense guessing was much different this year. Seems they did more of this for the Rams game

so what you are saying is....Wentz can't fake the handoff as good as Foles?

Pretty sure it's a wash on both of their running abilities.

As much as I like Wentz overall, it just seems like this team clicks better with Nick under center.

I'm saying the offense this year hasn't been running the same offense they were last year for both QBS. they seemed to have changed it for this year except a bit for the Rams game

They seem to rally around Foles more. I really thought it was silly to consider giving Foles the starting job over Wentz to start this year, but given what Foles has done and Wentz’s injury history....I don’t know anymore. It seems like a legitimate question now. Foles has established he should start in this league, but Wentz is a hell of a talent

When you look at Foles's game by game statistics... there is no "Average" Foles..... Its either HOT, or COLD... no real middle game for him.

Kind of funny actually

Good Luck tomorrow Nick

Can Nick Foles keep up with Drew Brees?
On paper, this is very much a quarterback mismatch, but Nick Foles has won a Super Bowl against Tom Brady, so that doesn’t necessarily mean anything. That said, Foles will have to be at his sharpest to keep up with Drew Brees, especially if the New Orleans offense hits its stride and really gets going. Much will rely on how Philadelphia’s defense does here, but Foles needs to keep his team in the game at the very least. That may mean playing at a level slightly higher than he’s used to. Yes
