you can literally not leave your couch and order all of your gifts online and they come straight to your door and you get the best price on top of it.

Been doing that for the past 3-4 years, except 1 item had to be picked up and couldn't be shipped.
So for the first time in over 3 years I had to go to the Mall where this store was.

Luck have it that I didn't take the Highway to get there ( exit ramp is a killer )
So got there in 15 mins, pulled into the parking lot that was close to that major Dept. store and found someone leaving Right in front of the place
Ran in, picked up the item, and ran out back in my car within 9 mins.

another good part was that the store is kind of in the back part of the Mall ( Still attached ) and there's a on-ramp to the parkway like 1/10 of a mile
So I didn't have to deal with cars trying to get into the Mall.

But yeah, Online shopping all the way

I'll never do that again ... that's what stopped me from going to Malls to shop.
I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown, think it was 5 days away from Christmas at the time. NEVER again !

Don't even celebrate this commercial holiday. I laugh inside when I see people driving around frantically or rushing around malls with stressed out faces.

Christmas and valentines day is the biggest scam and best thing going for the stores.

Think about it. It virtually has nothing to do with christianity anymore. It's basically owned by the stores and businesses nowadays and people fall for it.

Not for me. When I did celebrate it I did all my shopping online. Much easier especially for out of town friends and family where I could just ship to the giftee. No fuss no muss.

Start in about three hours. Will still be working on it on Christmas Eve.

Have to make 30 quarts of red sauce (mostly with meat) for family and neighbors.

Cutting all the garlic into little pieces is the tough part. My index finger and thumb start stinging on about the second garlic bulb and then sting like crazy until I'm done. A week or two later the top layers of skin will start peeling off those fingers kinda like a sun burn. Even my Italian doctor (who also cooks) didn't know what it was when I showed her. The rest isn't hard. It just takes several hours time.

But they love it. So I do it. Neighbors and family drop in while I'm doing it for an egg nog and rum and help a little too.
