Cam Jordan says no way.

Says Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers and E. Manning are all better during this era. Does he have an argument?

I have to say Big Ben is better than Eli Manning.

I think Big Ben has been held back by Tomlin most of his NFL career.

But, Ben is a hard nosed, old style type football player, stays in the pocket, takes the hits, shrugs off tackles. I actually enjoy watching him play.

On the other hand, when he has a bad game, he is really bad and keeps sinking further and further trying to get out of the hole he has dug.

But, I would take Eli out, and slide Big Ben into the 5th spot.

Sean Payton should tell this dumbass to not try and motivate a HOFer/two-time Super Bowl champ before they're about to play each other.

Other, there is no debate than Ben is better than Eli. Eli is arguably not a HOF quarterback

33/50 (66%) 3 TD's is a little better than Cam Jordon's stat line yesterday.

Of course #7 is going to the Hall of Fame and Cam Jordan most certainly is not.

Eli 231 Games
Ben 215 Games

Yds Passing Eli 55680 Ben 55907

After that, not even close

TD/INT

Ben 362/189
Eli 358/238

Yds per attempt (a subtle, but telling stat w big sample size)

Ben 7.8
Eli 7.0

QB Rating

Ben 94.3
Eli 84.1

That last stat is IMO almost damning....A guy with 84.1 QB Rating is a middle tier QB at best and yet the Giants pay him as top tier.

And check it out....Ben lifetime rating of 94.3? Eli has never once hit that rating in even a single season.

Tony Romo is 4th best Career QB rating of all time. (97.1). Behind Rodgers (104.1), Wlson (99.6), and Brady (97.2) Just sayin

Fair enough, but the posed question was the comps between Ben and Eli and their virtually identical timelines.

Giants should have cut bait w Eli after about 2013, maybe 2014.

Yep

PS...Add Philip Rivers as a clear entry well ahead of Eli and right on par w Ben save for Chargers never assembling a true SB contender (so far)
